Hi 👋🏽 I thought I’d come on here and share something fun and intentional I’ve been creating with my child for the last 8-10 weeks.

Each week since school has started we have picked a theme/ world to create on paper. I have crayons, markers, watercolors, paint markers, pastels, colored pencils, gel pens all ready to use. Each day after school we add a little bit to our creation. So far we have created 9 different scenes together. I love having this little gallery to walk by each day. We’ve moved it around the house as it’s grown and will continue to grow!

I love this so much mostly because we can spend some time together but it has been a great tool to open up at the end of the day and give us the opportunity to share and converse about important and unimportant things.

If you wanna create something fun together, try this! by @moonbabycreates

Made with love & a sense of humor. Get your boobies checked ladies 🫂💕🧚‍♀️ celebrating a new chapter, one swing at a time! #custompiñata #customgift #specialoccasion #fuckcancer by @moonbabycreates

Surviving breast cancer means that for the month of October, I get to be an absolute menace to all of the women I love. GET CHECKED YOU GUYS. Of course it’s scary, but avoiding it doesn’t make it go away. I found mine on an absolute fluke- about to move out of state, went to a regular OB checkup to get all of my ducks in a row…bam. Diagnosis. It is a hell of a detour but life is so worth the agonizing marathon I’ve gone through to get here. Life will continue around you and there will be plenty of moments of joy you will still experience throughout it. There are people I would have never known, potatoes I wouldn’t have eaten, no-reason art I wouldn’t have made, places I wouldn’t have seen. Two babies I wouldn’t have been here to see two of my best friends bring into this world. A very special little dog I never would have met. 10000% worth it.

2 mammograms
1 ultrasound
3 biopsies
Genetic testing
6 surgeries
12 rounds of chemotherapy
Scalp freezing with dry ice to save my hair
1 emergency surgery
Weekly blood draws
2 emergency room visits
1 overnight hospitalization
6 weeks of IV antibiotics
5 years of post-cancer drug therapy

…and we caught mine early. GO. 💖
