Our X-Men '97 Watch Party was totally apocalyptic with two Apocalypse actors from Rise of Apocalypse part 2 episode at Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood. Both voice actors for Apocalypse joined virtually: @adetokumboh (En Sabah Nur) via livestream from West Africa, and pre-recorded @rossmarquand, voice of both Apocalypse and Professor X. After the screening, co-writer Anthony Sellitti spoke in perein about writing this episode and the fan-fave episode 2 with X-Force v X-Factor and spotlight on Jubilee.

Congrats cosplay catwalk winner @mooncastercosplay who won the Apocalypse Funko Pop grand prize. Anthony also received a Thank You Wolverine Pop and comic boxed set. Both Funko Pops are from Funko Hollywood, located three blocks east on Hollywood.

In 2024, we organized weekly watch parties with appearances by more than a dozen of the show's cast and creators. It was a wonderful experience to bring together the X-Men fandom community from around LA / OC and beyond.

These X-Men '97 watch parties are fan organized by @kevinwinston of @digitalla. Our venue host @scumandvillainycantina bar and restaurant has been bringing together pop culture fandoms from Star Wars to Harry Potter for several years. Their second location Rendezvous is planned for Burbank.

What a birthday! I am so incredibly lucky to have all these beautiful people in my life! I couldn’t thank everyone enough for coming out to celebrate my birthday as well as the return of X-Men 97! The first 3 episode so INSANE! Though my favorite has to be the 2nd episode 😜✨🔥 No Spoilers!
