Here’s a new recipe for you all!!!! 🫶😍

🌿 Sojna Pata Diye Chingri 🍤

A simple, flavourful Bengali-style dish made with fresh sojna pata (moringa leaves) and juicy prawns. Perfect with a plate of steaming hot rice! 🤤🍚

📝 Ingredients:

Sojna pata (moringa leaves) – 1 bunch
Prawns – 250–300 g
Onion – 1–2 small
Garlic – 5–6 cloves
Tomato- 1 medium sized
Green chillies – 2–3
Coriander leaves – a handful
Nigella seeds (kalonji) – ½ tsp
Jeera Powder- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt – as required
Mustard oil – as required

👩🏻‍🍳 Method:
Clean and wash the sojna pata thoroughly.
Add the moringa leaves, onion, garlic, green chillies,and coriander leaves to a blender. Grind everything into a smooth paste.

Marinate the prawns with a little salt and turmeric powder.

Heat mustard oil in a pan and lightly fry the prawns until they turn golden. Remove and keep them aside.

In the same pan, add a little more mustard oil and temper it with kalonji.

Add the prepared moringa-leaf paste and cook well.

Add turmeric powder, jeera powder, red chilli powder and salt. Cook until the raw smell disappears and the oil starts to separate. Then add chopped tomato.

Add the fried prawns. Add garam masala powder.Mix gently and cook for a few more minutes.

And that’s it! Your delicious Sojna Pata Diye Chingri is ready. 🌿🍤

Serve hot with steaming rice and enjoy! ❤️
