Since today is the day of the Olympics history of the first time Bboy’s and bgirls going into the Olympics in the Breakin’ category I’m no showing my best kept secret documentary footage incase you missed this 2009 sizzle version. What you are seeing is my early 2000-2009 footage mostly 2000-2004 footage I have captured going back and forth to NYC from the #BayArea California to get the knowledge of the true essence of the bboy & #rockdance history. Intro logo & all black room spot light is me as I am part of this dance culture since the early 80s growing up and because of that is what my documentary series in the making since 1994 & shooting our dance since 1989 is told from the prospective from the inside of our culture. As a journalist making sure to get the story right I have spent my entire adult life sacrificing everything to get the stories and filming of our cultures past present and what’s to come giving it all I got as a one man crew with no choice but to do it. The footage you see I was ahead of time I shot in Anamorphic 16:9 for the big screen film festivals my goal since 1994 hoop dreams seeing how they made that documentary with the same camera I had at the time in 1994. 2000-2004 as seen in these clips my anamorphic lens on a pro #Sony camera prepared me for now days of nonstop from to this very day capturing the culture. Which means with the video editing software & color correction has made my film better. So I’m glad it didn’t come out when it was accepted to #Sundance film festival @sundanceorg & @slamdancegroup because then I was dropped cause I been a one man crew at no budget with no finishing funds for music & archival rights. The drive continues to this day as I have been updating the story with the #Olympics story of current times & still searching for a reliable team to work with to help me finally get my #Documentary series completed for the world to see. Please pass this along to potential interest that can make this happen. The time is now. Congrats to the USA & bboy & bgirl #olympians world wide. I hope you get to see my film soon for education purposes and for the future archives. #bboy by @mooncricketfilms
Here is another quick teaser to my roller skate documentary series. This episode in the series breaks down how big skating has always been and that since the pandemic of social has been the great social media marketing tool that finally advertised skating into the algorithms creating influences throughout the world as a skating expansion as I call it. My narration voice will be replaced. Everything you see here is 100% my filming and editing including the 2011 footage of Slate Depot Back To Cali jam. I need all the support I can get to make my skate series happen. Feel free to share and tag who ever. Time is running out as I’m past my deadlines of funding but I’m still pushing to make my final deadlines. 2022 summer so much happening as I predicted 3 years ago finishing funds as a one man crew has a slow process. It’s a developing story capturing our skate lives time line past, present and unpredictable upcoming events and situations. The correct funding can help me build a production team as alone has its many challenges and big sacrifices. I continue to give 100% as a filmmaker, writer and a long time roller skater in the skate community telling a story from a roller skaters prospective from the inside to share out instead of someone from the outside coming in trying to figure it out. I live this skate life along with you all. Let’s take this skate journey together in the @sk8feverdocumentary Blessings and I appreciate the sharing of my videos. 😊❤️ I’m working on blessing perks to all my donors. Ideas are welcome. Im so glad I captured the last days of many rinks for the history archives. Sad many been closing and many more closing soon. One of the episodes showing sneak peaks from @sk8feverdocumentary and time is running out, crunch time. I haven’t reached my goal on gofundme I’m a one man crew. Message me for the venmo if that’s easier as several been telling me. Much appreciated for those who understand the developing process. Much appreciated to those who have donated. I have more collectible give always to my community of Oakland when I get back from NYC. The more donations the more bigger items I’m giving away to the kids and adults. Also more sneak peaks coming soon. Funding also helps my hard drives space cause each event I shoot over 200 gigs to almost a terabyte. Currently on my way to NYC for the week ready to capture lots of amazing footage and interviews updating the episode from last 2 summers NYC skate growth. Blessings and I appreciate the sharing of my videos. 😊❤️ I’m working on blessing perks to all my donors. Ideas are welcome.
