Nice to meet you all!

I saw a bunch of my friends do their meet the artist, so I was inspired to do my own. Alas, it took much longer than expected because I wanted to play around with traditional materials. I missed my copics and ohuhu’s!

Please don’t judge my favorite movies. Cars 2 is a good movie, and I will die on that hill.

Comment your favorite movie! I’d love to have more recs to add to my watch list! If you like any of the media that I like, don’t be a stranger!

Inktober 2026 Days 4-6!

My favorite comic from this batch has to be the clara vs ghost face. If you think about it Cars 2 is truly a terrifying movie. Very ahead of its time, Cars 2 saw what we couldn’t. What is your favorite scary movie? Don’t answer that question if you are named Drew Barrymore and have a blonde bob.

This year I wanted to take inktober seriously. I’ve never sucessfully completed the artistic challenge, this year I am determined it will be different. Here is my first batch of four panel comics. I’m trying not to be a perfectionist only spending 30 minutes on each. I’ve been exploring the world of peabody and clara! I hope you enjoy this first batch!

Shirtless… during a zombie apocalypse…
🐻
This is stupid… this comic was inspired by the shirtless Austin Abram’s thirst tweets about the new resident evil movie. I thought to myself, what would Peabody do in this situation. He would definitely be a know it all prude. That’s for sure. Watch the movie… good movie.

A little comic about the movie Primetime, directed by Lance Oppenheim and starring Robert Pattinson and Skylar Gisondo. I’ve been waiting for this movie ever since the moment I saw the trailer in the theatre before. The trailer didn’t disappoint, this film really is wow.
🐗
I can’t belive this movie invented color. I dare say one of the prettiest movies I’ve seen in a while. More documentary directors should make narrative films. Uh go watch it if you haven’t. A wonderful reflection of readily tv and the mythology of a pop culture icon.
🐗
I really enjoyed how this movie used visual analogies. I will be talking more about this on my substack: moongranatum’s sketchbook.
🐗
I love movies omg!

What if a pirate sang this song, this comic is my visualization. I hope you enjoy it. Don’t worry about the specifics of this situation, just embrace the moment. Which version of the song do you prefer.

It’s can’t always be photoshop, someone’s gotta hold it down using procreate (said every single artist ever)
💕
I was doing some quick face studies and ended up drawing @adelajergova! Stream PRIMA everyone! It’s good!

An Aki Hayakawa illustration I drew WAYYYY back in November after watching the Chainsawman: Reze Arc movie. I planned to post it in November but I forgot. It’s almost a year later, but better late than never. Also some silly doodles and wips that have been collecting dust in my camera roll! It’s Wip Wednesday after all.

There’s an illness plaguing our society
🦷
I had a lot of fun creating an alternate movie poster for a movie I’m quite fond of, A Cure For Wellness (2016) directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Dane DeHaan, Mia Goth, and Jason Isaacs. It’s a freaky, dreary, and sterile film that is visually stunning. I think about her a lot. If you like gothic and medical horror you should totally give this one a watch.

Don’t you hate when this happens….
🐻
Just a little Peabody comic that I spent way too long adding in the mood lighting. I wonder why he hates that teddy bear, and why does the teddy bear talk?
🐻
This better not be like the movie Ted…

Uh oh

Step 4: OOPSIE you were too late, always put on your sunscreen before it’s too late…

OH MAN ITS SO HOT OUTSIDE… perhaps this may just be me venting. Don’t be like Peabody, wear sunscreen. (Inspired by all the times I refuse to reapply my sunscreen.)
