Roller Skate Photo shoot with @amberkuhnphotography, the Creative Director and Photographer for this amazing Vintage Skate shoot. She literally dreamt the concept one night, and was lucky enough to find 2 partners to help her pull it off.

Lisa Garrett with Lisa Garrett Photography was gracious enough to not only model, but lend her studio for the project. She also assisted with set design , apparel, and props.

Moon, also with the Beautymark Hair Studio was integral in hair, apparel, props and of course she was an incredible model! Moon is the local hair stylist and roller skate queen, so when we had our
creative planning meeting , she was excited to be able to share and put out something into the world that has personal meaning to her .

Most importantly, we had a BLAST.

This picture is everything to me. ✨

This was the moment I found my joy—and finally understood what true ecstasy felt like.

After being mandated to stay home, surrounded by uncertainty and fear, we made a choice: we were not going to let fear become our way of life.

We stepped outside.
We moved.
We laughed.
We lived.

And somewhere in that freedom, something within me awakened.

Looking at this picture now, I see more than a memory.
I see a moment of liberation.
A moment when my soul remembered what it felt like to be free.

This is the moment I remembered how to dance with life again. 🕊️✨

There is something profoundly sacred about sharing breath with such majestic beings as horses. In their presence, time softens, walls dissolve, and something ancient within us begins to remember. It was an honor to sit in stillness and listen to what these magnificent animals awaken deep within the soul.

I REMEMBER!!

Pacing the wood floors of my castle up on Cleopatra hill, circling my luggage like a ritual, caught between worlds—
asking the silence,
Was it real?
Did I truly feel it, or did it find me?

I knew when I began this journey
I would uncover more of myself…
but what met me there
was something ancient—
something waiting.

Whispers moved through me,
activations woven into my cells,
frequencies awakening against walls
that have held lifetimes of knowing.

It wasn’t discovery—
it was recognition.

I did not find myself…
I remembered myself.

Every wonder, every question, every dream
I once held like distant starlight
revealed itself as truth.

A quiet knowing settled in my bones—
I was never alone.
I was never forgotten.

I remained there, for this lifetime, in this body,
for a reason beyond memory.

And now…
the veil lifts.

This photo surfaced just before I left for Egypt… and I didn’t fully understand why until now.

At 15 years old, I went on what I now see as a dangerous expedition—not just physically, but internally. This image brings up so many emotions: embarrassment, feelings of inferiority… and at the same time, a deep and overwhelming gratitude.

It reminds me of a childhood I kept mostly to myself. Feeling different. Riding the short bus. Being told I was “stupid.” Being pulled out of class to be tested, over and over again. Experiences that shaped me—and fought to never define me.

This photo marks 36 years of something I can now name: blind dedication to finding my own truth. I knew there was something much bigger out there and I was determined to find it.

It was around this time that I made a quiet but powerful decision—
I would no longer just go with the flow.
I would no longer believe something simply because I was told it was true.

While in Egypt, a phrase kept coming up:
“You can’t unsee what you’ve just seen.”

And now… I understand.

I’ve seen the purpose behind it all. Every challenge. Every label. Every moment of doubt. Even the mistakes.

What I once thought were limitations—my dyslexic mind, my different way of seeing—have become my greatest gifts. My ability to recognize patterns, to feel deeply, to perceive the world through a unique lens… that’s my power and now I know why they were really testing me.

And honestly? I kind of loved the short bus. I always had an escort and never had to fight for a seat.

This experience has cracked me wide open. It feels like my cells—and my soul—have been completely regenerated.

And now… I’m ready.

After spending the last two weeks in the temples of Egypt, I am feeling remarkably elevated.
My group is eager to continue, and we need to build upon the momentum from last night's activations inside the Great Pyramid. Every cell in my body is vibrating with energy, and my soul is resonating deeply.
As this experience comes to a close, I am filled with a sense of tranquility, knowing that my life will be forever altered and I am returning to the reality I've created. This experience will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact, making me a taller and stronger individual.

I AM Doing it!! LOVING LIFE!!
Roller Skating in Egypt.
I’m still looking for the right opportunity to roll near the pyramids. This was enough for my first attempt, as I decided to do it during sundown prayer time. When they would tell me to stop, I would sat “okay, catch me” and SK8 the other way. 🤸🏽‍♂️💃🏼🤸🏽‍♂️ taken in Valley of the Kings by @moongrooves2
