From waterfalls to snowfall, warm pork belly ramen, cow’s chillin’, the new moon bus pass and long and winding roads, what a ride it was Grand Staircase-Escalante. #escalante #grandstaircase #oldbullkitchen by @moonkast

Any colour like you… by @moonkast
Hiked the summit of Red Mountain N3 Trail. It was a completely different look and terrain than previous hikes. It’s crazy to see snow and the colors of fall come together. A beautiful moose (pic 2) also crossed my path before the hike began! #ouray by @moonkast

At the top of this mountain where Hope Lake sits, one is surrounded by peace and tranquility. In this space, it’s as if the sky collides with the water as one. I had this all to myself for ~30 minutes and I took it all in. #hopelake #hiking by @moonkast

Blue Lakes Trail proved to be as beautiful as advertised. This trail went deep into the Uncompahgre National Forest with 2,500+ feet elevation and over 12,000 feet of total elevation. #bluelakescolorado by @moonkast
I was able to visit and browse around the former home of the late great Dennis Hopper. He named it “The Mud Palace” and the intention was to build a counterculture Hollywood and artistic refuge. Guests included Jack Nicholson, Joni Mitchell, Andy Warhol, Bob Dylan and many others. I left here and paid my respects at Ranchos De Taos Cemetery. This was another piece of my continuing journey out West and kismet connection to Easy Rider and my father who continues to ride the open road of eternal freedom. #easy rider #taos #dennishopper by @moonkast
