My gorgeous, thoughtful moonflower bestie @aggiesopo surprised me with a trip to the sweetest book barn I’ve ever seen. 🤎 📚The golden-hour light spilling across the shelves, the scent of well-loved pages mingling with crisp autumn air, the joy of showing each other our finds… it was absolutely magical! Well, it took about 6 months since the move but my walls are painted and my shelves are up! I can’t wait to free my poor books from their box prisons!!
Now comes the hard part…how am I arranging them this time around? 🤔

This challenge was so needed right now. There’s all sorts of changes going on in my life right now so to be able to check out and focus on matching my handle to books I’ve loved was much appreciated.
Here are eighteen of my favorite books- many of which shaped me as a person. I’m proud of myself for not going too heavy on the Hoffman. 😂 While thrillers have been my go-to lately, I opted to go for books that I felt better match who I am. Et voilà

This is usually when I would write a caption about what an amazing year or day I had but maybe it’s okay to 𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘻𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘥 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘥𝘢𝘺𝘴. It’s a gloomy day weatherwise and I’ve been very down lately. I feel a little broken whenever I’m not happy on my birthday but maybe that’s just another area humans place too much pressure on.
I’m so grateful my best friend met up with me for a cup of coffee even when she had a super busy day momming. 🥹 I’m grateful for the adorable and freaking delicious vegan petit four my mom was able to scout out for me! I’m grateful to have Sawyer-pup by my side.
I’m spending the rest of my day in my pjs watching Spring Baking Championship, starting my next read, and probably crying some more 😂 And THAT’S OKAY. I just wanted to share my reality in case there’s anyone else who can relate. We always see birthday celebrations posted on social media and it’s so hard not to compare our experiences to the experiences of others BUT it’s not always sunshine and rainbows. You’re not alone ♡
