Porcelain is a beginner’s clay. It’s the easiest of clays. Everyone knows that. 🤍🤍 But let me count the ways this diva clay is as easygoing as she is downright difficult. She feels like throwing butter: soft, creamy, rich. A total sensory delight compared to the gritty, callus-removing clays I usually throw. She will humble you. She will seduce you. She will absolutely collapse if you look at her wrong. 😏 And somehow… I keep coming back. #porcelainclay #wheelthrowing #potteryreels #ceramicartist #claylife by @moonmeadowstudio
Clay will humble you. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, you make one choice you know is going to fail. And honestly? That’s the work. Some pots are meant to last. Others are meant to teach. Nothing quite as grounding as a ball of mud reminding you how dumb you can be 😂 Enjoy this collection of cracked pots, half-dried pots, too-soft pots, too-firm pots and the ones that simply refuse to be anything but mud. It’s fine. I’m fine. 🥲 The clay gods have officially called the end of Christmas present making for loved ones 🥰 —• #pottery #ceramics #ceramicartist #potterylife #claylife #reels #instagramreels #reelitfeelsit #makersofinstagram #artistsofinstagram #creativeprocess #processoverproduct #handmadeceramics #kilnfails #potteryfails #behindthescenes #oddlysatisfying #satisfyingvideos #artreels #smallbatch #slowmade #learningcurve #makerlife by @moonmeadowstudio
Every. Single. Time. a pot yeets itself off the wheel, it triggers a level of rage that can only be described as an out-of-body experience 😅. That said, I have gotten better at catching them mid-flight and saving their little ceramic lives. In this clip, you can literally see the moment my brain goes, “ah yes… this one’s about to launch,” and instead of fixing it, I just keep on spinnin’ 🤪 —• #pottery #pottersoftiktok #pottersofinstagram #ceramics #ceramicartist #wheelthrowing #claylife #makersgonnamake #handmadeceramics #potteryprocess #behindthewheel #studiopotter #potterylove #ceramicstudio #canadianartist #kilnfolk #claycommunity #potterylife #artreels #creativeprocess #handmademugs #moonmeadowstudio #yyc #yqr #ywg by @moonmeadowstudio
Wooooowww Brandon, MB! You’ve flattered me this weekend at @brandonsbigone!! I can’t believe I’ve sold almost all of my mugs! I’m entirely grateful to each one of you who stopped by to say hi and grab something 💗 🌙✨✌️ - Kirsten by @moonmeadowstudio
Hi friends! I will be selling pots at The Big One market in Brandon MB on October 24th and 25th. I’m currently working hard to get lots of beloved favourites and originals made for you all. Hope to see you there 🌙💗 by @moonmeadowstudio
A little catch up with me 🥰 It’s been a full, beautiful, slightly chaotic few months. I started a brand new job in February (a shift that felt refreshing 🍃), and I’ve been finding pockets of time in Moon Meadow Studio between bedtime routines, outside play, moving my body, and actually having a life 🌙🌸 Back in January, I had big plans for spring + summer markets… and honestly? I’m still not sure what Summer 2026 will hold. But I do know this: There will be a summer collection ✨ There will be magic ✨ And there will be ways to find me…whether in person or online 👀 Porcelain. Porcelain. Porcelain.🤍 Dancing with colour, flowers, stars, and a little bit of magic woven into every piece. This collection is rooted in nostalgia— sitting on my grandma’s deck, husking corn, rinsing fresh-picked saskatoons, and feeling like time slowed down just enough to notice everything. 🌽🫐 Still lots to create… but here’s your first sneak peek 💫 #ceramicart #potteryreel #handmadepottery #artistsoninstagram #smallbatch by @moonmeadowstudio
Everyone loves a good mug or a special little bowl for treats … but this round, I’m completely smitten with these candy-heart, tulip-shaped thumb cups 🌷💕 They’re the perfect size and somehow turned out extra adorable. Mugs take me ages, bowls love to break, but cups? Cups are usually pretty cooperative… unless they decide to fly off the wheel like in my last post 😅 If you’re feeling the pull, you might find a little something you love in the Shop highlight or my stories. There’s just something really special about mindful eating and drinking from the perfect little cup or bowl ✨ —• #handmadeceramics #potteryreels #ceramiccups #thumbcups #potteryshop #shophandmade #supportsmallbusiness #madeincanada #canadianpottery #functionalceramics #slowmade #mindfulliving #ceramiclove #artisanmade #wheelthrown #potterylife #ceramicart #smallbatch #handcrafted #giftideas #shopsmall by @moonmeadowstudio
✨ Last Pot Drop of 2025 ✨ Tomorrow, December 12 🕊️ My final little batch of magic is landing in the shop tomorrow ☁️🌸 soft pastels, cloudy blends, and all the cozy energy I’ve been tucking into the studio this season. This year has been wild, tender, expansive, and every piece in this drop carries a bit of that journey. Thank you for loving my work, for cheering on Moon Meadow, and for making space in your homes for my dreamy creations. 🌙🧸✨ See you tomorrow for the last moon meadow swirl of 2025. 🌕🌾💗 —• #moonmeadowstudio #potterytok #ceramicartists #canadianpottery #manitobapottery #pastelpottery #handbuiltceramics #wheelthrownceramics #mugmakers #muglovers #smallbatchceramics #shoplocalmb #artistsoninstagram #claycommunity #pottersofinstagram #ceramiclove #smallbatchstudio #potterylife #mugdrop by @moonmeadowstudio
Waiting for my business cards and thank you cards to arrive was so exciting, I had a dream they arrived last night 😅💭. I couldn’t wait to get my hands and eyes all over them! They are giving out the exact kind of vibes I was hoping for. Settled, content, soft and magical 💖✨. —• #moonmeadowstudio #moonmeadow #ceramicartist #pottersofinstagram #handmadeceramics #potteryreel #ceramicreels #claycommunity #canadianpottery #manitoboceramics #pastelpottery #dreamyart #whimsicalart #aestheticceramics #handbuiltceramics #wheelthrown #potterylove #makersmovement #smallbusinesslove #thankyoucards #businesscardsdesign #brandingreel #artistbranding #studiovibes #creativeprocess #makersgonnamake #shophandmade #supportsmallartists #cutepottery #ceramicsartist by @moonmeadowstudio
Painting all the little magical things 🍄☁️🌸✨ It’s bringing a whole lot of fairy feelings into the Yuletide season. Painting bitty clouds and tiny petals has basically become my meditation. It slows me down, gets me into my body, and helps me stay present. All that soft, soothing energy ends up tucked lovingly into every single piece 🧚🏼✨ —• #MoonMeadowStudio #PotteryReels #CeramicArt #HandmadeCeramics #PotteryProcess #WheelThrowing #ClayArt #CeramicArtist #MakersOfInstagram #StudioVibes #ArtReels #CottagecoreAesthetic #Fairycore #DreamyArt #WhimsicalDesign #YuletideMagic #HandpaintedPottery #SlowMade #SmallBatchCeramics #ArtisanalCraft #ClayCommunity #CanadianMakers #PotteryLove #CeramicDecor #CloudAesthetic #MagicalVibes #PotteryInspiration #CeramicReels #CraftingJoy #CreativeLife by @moonmeadowstudio
Long, smooth clay ribbons might be the most satisfying part of pottery. Fresh tool, perfect moisture, hypnotic curls… aka “pottery snakes” according to my toddler 🐍✨ — #pottery #ceramics #wheelthrowing #pottersoftiktok #pottersofinstagram #claylife #ceramicart #studiopotter #handmadeceramics #potteryprocess #satisfyingvideos #asmrvideo #tooling #trimmingclay #clayribbons #clayasmr #makersgonnamake #moonmeadowstudio #canadianpotter #potterylove #potteryvideo #potteryreels #behindthewheel #potterytutorial #artisanmade #ceramicsartist #craftingmagic #handbuiltceramics #potteryvibes #claycommunity by @moonmeadowstudio
Talking gently to my pots like they’re sensitive little creatures because… they are. ✨ “please don’t be wobbly, baby” ✨ If you know, you know.
