its my birthday. I'm 25. what i want for my birthday is for the people reading this to be intellectually curious, and to put a mask back on.

i tire of begging my friends and family to stop risking their life and health every day.
i can no longer sit idly by and beg my antimasker comrades to care about disabled lives.
it is painful to watch my loved ones experience exacerbated illness and complications from covid-19.
i'm tired of the people who claim to love me, but only show it with invitations to go out and sacrifice my health.

so i am putting all my energy into creating resources that will wake people up, instead of shouting into the void.

i am starting Mask Bloc Eastern Washington with the hopes that i can channel the social desperation into mass education and resource distribution. a zine series is in the works for Spokane Zine Fest '26, and i will now be seeking tabling opportunities at local events and markets.

i hope to be distributing masks and air filters by fire season.

in my personal life, i am fighting for my longevity and my ability to continue doing the things i love- i can no longer afford to make time for the people in my life who dont value my health. if you don't mask, or listen to my plea and agree only in words, but not action, educate yourself. my life and yours depend on it. if you're really trying to see me, you'll offer to mask. i always have a collection.
