One of the things that makes us love this business is visiting with our fellow hat store owners and shapers.

We just wanted to take a quick moment to recognize and thank @pendletonhatcompany. They let us into their shop after closing time and we talked all things hats. These guys and gals are true professionals, and theirs is one of the best shops we have seen anywhere.

Knowing they took the time to talk shop with us was a highlight of our trip. Thanks PHC. 🤠

Moon Ridge On the Road | Pendleton Round-Up, Part 2 🎥

We started the day inside @pendletonwm, watching how they've woven wool since the 1800s. Many of the pieces you see here are already on our shelves at Moon Ridge, and we're bringing more back home to NWA, along with our @stetsonusa hats.

Then it was on to the Round-Up. We closed out the night talking shop with our friends at @pendletonhatcompany, and finished it off with dinner alongside two rodeo queens.

Two states. Two crowns. One table. 🤠

Miss Rodeo Arkansas @_falyn_rai_ and Miss Rodeo Oklahoma @missrodeooklahoma shared dinner with us at Virgil's at Cimmiyotti's during the Pendleton Round-Up, and Moon Ridge was honored to host.

Falyn is wearing her Butterscotch @Resistol1927, special ordered by Moon Ridge for our rodeo queen. Enjoying time with our neighbors from Oklahoma was a good reminder how much we enjoy our neighbors to the west.

These two are the real deal. Class acts and we're proud to know them both.

The week got even better when rodeo hall of famer Flint Rasmussen @flintrasmussen stopped to visit. Eight-time PRCA Clown of the Year, and a man we've admired since we were kids. Pinch-me moment for the whole crew.

Day one in Pendleton is in the books. 🐑

Tomorrow we’re touring the mill for a behind-the-scenes look at how Pendleton’s traditional products are built, from raw wool to the finished weave coming off the loom.

We believe in heritage, quality, and craftsmanship is what we believe in at Moon Ridge: We can’t wait to see it up close and bring that story home to every Pendleton piece on our shelves.
