If you’re looking for things to do in Belize to add to your Belize itinerary,this 7 stop snorkeling tour that includes a stop at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Stingray Alley is definitely not something you want to miss!

This was easily one of the best days on my Belize itinerary. From start to finish it was nonstop adventure, unreal water, and some of the most memorable wildlife encounters I’ve ever had.

The tour runs from around 9 AM to roughly 3 PM and you can start from either Caye Caulker or San Pedro. I started in Caye Caulker and it was the perfect way to experience the Belize Barrier Reef up close.

We made our way to Hol Chan Marine Reserve where we snorkeled through crystal clear water surrounded by coral, tropical fish, rays, and even the occasional turtle. It’s one of the most iconic marine reserves in Belize and completely lived up to the hype.

Next was Shark Ray Alley and this was the highlight for me. Swimming with nurse sharks and stingrays in their natural habitat felt surreal and exciting, and honestly not as intimidating as it sounds.

We also stopped at additional coral gardens and snorkel spots along the reef, each one offering something different so the experience never felt repetitive.

Everything is taken care of including snorkeling gear and guides, so all you have to do is show up and enjoy the experience.

If you’re planning your Belize itinerary or searching for the best things to do in Belize, this is one you absolutely need to add. Swimming with nurse sharks alone made it unforgettable.
