A love letter to my favorite season.🍁

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been in love with October.
The silence in between the crunching underfoot.
The scent of the cool air filled with wet, smokey cedar, decaying leaves and earth.
The glow of foliage and the bright autumn flowers that pop in between rust, yellow, brown and red.
Cool nights, early darkness, the glow of a comforting candle and a cup of tea.
Pumpkin spice, cinnamon and apple.
Halloween traditions, late nights and horror films.🎃

What is not to love about such an unconventional time of year? Yet it returns every year, and maybe because this period is fleeting and so short that we await it with so much anticipation and soak in every second of seasonal magic.✨

🇫🇷Une lettre d’amour à ma saison préférée. 🍁

Aussi loin que je m’en souvienne, j’ai toujours adoré le mois d’octobre.
Ce silence qui s’installe entre deux craquements de feuilles sous les pas.
Le parfum de l’air frais, empreint de notes de cèdre humide et fumé, de feuilles en décomposition et de terre.
L’éclat du feuillage et les fleurs d’automne aux couleurs vives qui surgissent au milieu des nuances de rouille, de jaune, de brun et de rouge.
Les nuits fraîches, la tombée précoce de la nuit, la lueur réconfortante d’une bougie et une tasse de thé.
Les saveurs de citrouille épicée, de cannelle et de pomme.
Les traditions d’Halloween, les veillées tardives et les films d’horreur. 🎃

Comment ne pas aimer une période de l’année aussi singulière ? Pourtant, elle revient chaque année ; et c’est peut-être parce qu’elle est si éphémère et fugace que nous l’attendons avec autant d’impatience et que nous savourons chaque seconde de sa magie saisonnière. ✨

This year‘s mini collection was strongly inspired by the theme of beyond the veil, the concept that spirits are among us, and as we approach autumn and winter, the veil thins, and our connection to the liminal spaces and creatures in between increase. 🍂

If you’ve ever had a chat with me in this lifetime, it probably involved ghosts and the supernatural at one point or another. 🎃

From haunted tales to urban legends, I am deeply inspired by the world and what lies in between.✨

🇫🇷Cette année la mini collection s’inspire dans le thème de « l’au-delà du voile » — cette idée que les esprits sont parmi nous et que, à l’approche de l’automne et de l’hiver, le voile s’amincit, renforçant ainsi notre lien avec les espaces liminaux et les créatures de l’entre-deux.

Si vous avez déjà discuté avec moi, il est fort probable que la conversation ait fini par aborder les fantômes et le surnaturel.

Des récits de hantise aux légendes urbaines, je trouve une profonde inspiration dans le monde qui nous entoure et dans tout ce qui réside dans l’entre-deux. ✨

Six years ago, this is where it all began.✨

I had never envisioned myself starting a candle company, but after a trip to Salem in 2017, I was inspired. I spent the last decade diving into witchcraft everything – history, politics, traditions, cultural practices, etc. I took my love for candles that was growing, and turned it into a business.

While I had always dreamed of being an entrepreneur, I never thought I would be here specifically. Starting this business has changed so many parts of me and has helped me use all of my years of experience and knowledge to help me grow along with my business.

Let this photo remind you that life is a journey and that we all start somewhere. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t have to be aesthetic, you just need to start. Whether you need two glasses of wine to apply for your first market, or you show up and totally bomb and break your glasses, promise yourself that one day you’ll make it and you will.

Success is born through repetition, seeing what works and making mistakes while learning from them. Most of all - never giving up. The ugly part people also don’t always talk about is how many people will doubt you along the way, treat your work like it’s a hobby and belittle you. But they’re not the people who count - the people who count are the ones who show up at every single market excited to see what you’re offering, the ones who cheer you on online, and your repeat customers whether wholesale or single orders.

This has been the most wholesome experience I’ve ever had, and I’m so proud of what I have achieved, even if it feels imperfect.🌻 by @moonstoneandmyth

Happy Augtober!🎃

For some of us, August marks the beginning of the best time of year. The sun begins to fade a bit each day while our crops grow to fruition and we lean to get a little bit cosier each day as the veil begins to thin.✨

As is such, I’ve added some seasonal offerings in the shop already! I was able to sneak in a few more Seasons of the Witch candles, available in 4 oz, 8 oz, 16 oz, and as wax melts.🍂

As well, if your local I hope I can see you at some of the upcoming events this season! I will be stocking your favourites along with some new seasonal scents.🌻

🇫🇷 Joyeux « Août-ctobre » ! 🎃

Pour certains d’entre nous, le mois d’août marque le début de la meilleure période de l’année. Le soleil s’estompe peu à peu chaque jour tandis que nos cultures arrivent à maturité ; nous adoptons une ambiance plus douillette à mesure que le voile entre les mondes commence à s’amincir. ✨

C’est pourquoi j’ai déjà ajouté des articles de saison à la boutique ! J’ai pu y glisser quelques bougies supplémentaires de Season of the Witch, disponibles en formats 4 oz, 8 oz et 16 oz, ainsi qu’en galets de cire parfumée. 🍂
