A billion hours later 😭🫪

Anyway, super worth it. Been working on something super special and leaning into my mixed media nature.🌱 much more to come, many different ideas. Can’t wait to watch it all take form and unfold 💗 follow @tetraktyslumen if you want to see what I make next 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have so much gratitude and joy for so many things in my life, it almost feels blasphemous to not find a way to make art about it.

@diggitydarrin taught me that cute lil arm pinch thingy in the middle ; it was surprisingly easy to learn. Gotta figure out how to get the timing right and quicker but ahh so stoked I learned it :D

Also I have officially learned how long of poi is “too long” for me 🥲 I wanted a set 1 inch longer than Darrin’s purple set since that is only 1” longer than my main, so I added 2 inches of length and now when I extend my arm down they scrape the floor cause I’m a SHORT AHH🤣😅

Anyway it’s cool cause it’s just making me have to become better with choking in and out of the ropes which I think will help with transitioning through different techniques more smoothly in the long run :)

The first time I picked up these poi I did not love it and second guessed why I got poi so long, it took about a week and now they are the first set I pick up everytime I spin and every other set feels “too short” 🤣

I think these babies are something like 28.5” 😆

I don’t think words could capture the love I have for this life I’ve been given and most importantly because of all the people I’ve been blessed with to be in it.
