MOONTIDE

Moontide is the solo project of Byron Bay multi-instrumentalist and DJ Louis Tobin.

Known for his eclectic, genre-fluid sets, Louis draws on the cultures and sounds he has encountered through his travels, creating a sound that moves freely beyond tempo and genre.

His music has taken him to festivals around the world, from Strawberry Fields and Rainbow Serpent in Australia to Boom Festival in Portugal, Fusion in Germany and Eclipse Festival in the USA.

For the past five years, Moontide has been a Mahico resident, becoming part of the fabric of the project and helping shape its musical identity.

An artist and producer in his own right, and a very special part of the Mahico family.

New mixtape out today on @hugrecords ,

amidst the summer tour I recorded a rather tender mix as a place of refuge, amidst the enormity of these times.

For cuddly moments alone or with your beloveds.

It’s on soundcloud and features many of my favourite artists and some live jams made in my studio amongst many spoken word/poems from people that inspire me.

Please support the artists featured 🕊️

Thank you to @hugrecords for releasing it and making such a sweet artwork with my fave animal - the tawny frog mouth.
