This weekend was one for the books!
The entire week I was obsessively checking the weather…I even ordered additional clear umbrellas (somehow every time I order some they little by little disappear…it is definitely not because I forget them everywhere…or that my son likes to use them and lose them😂), made sure I had my camera rain jackets packed, ordered anti fog wipes for our camera lenses…the whole nine!!

WE.WERE.PREPARED.

Two days before the weather app said 100% chance of rain…cool cool Night before it had gone down a little.. Day of…back up…then down…then up…and lo and behold IT.DID.NOT.RAIN during any of our portrait time!!!

It downpoured while the girls were finishing hair and makeup and I was doing details…but when it was time for portraits…DRY!

One thing about me tho…doesn’t matter if I am stressed, I will NEVER let my couple know. I walked in, talked to Macy’s sweet mama and we discussed a game plan if it was raining during the Ceremony (they planned for it to be outside), and I felt confident in my recommendation.
So when I went to say hi to Macy and she said “RACHEL…tell me its going to be ok if it rains...” I was able to tell her right away, girl I already talked to your mama, here’s what I say we do IF that happens… and I almost cried at her response “I just love you, I feel so much better”…because rain or shine, your Wedding Day goal is to get you two married! I can’t control the weather, but I’ll be damned if my couples feel like it will ruin their day…cause I’ll still work my booty off to make sure you get portraits you will LOVE!

The day was absolutely perfect, I had a blast with Macy & Matthew!

Macy & Matthew…thank you for trusting me with your precious memories…I’m so happy for you both!!

Macy & Matthew get MARRIED TODAY!!!

Can I be honest?
Wedding days are a bit bittersweet for me…I am so so excited to celebrate these two but I’m a little sad our journey is coming to an end…for now 🤪 (my couples that bring me along to capture allll the milestones, anniversaries, babies, family sessions…you have my ❤️)…

I have absolutely LOVED capturing these two this past year (cannot WAIT to share Macys bridals!) and I’m so so excited to watch them tie the knot today!!!!!😍😍😍

“All I feel is joy” 🤍🥹 Makenna and Des’ winter wedding was the absolute perfect way to end my 2025 season. I always boast that I get to work for some of the kindest, warmest, and most gracious people - but these two are a step above the rest. Truly, the only emotion we all felt that day was joy.

Moore Ranch would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas🎄 We have had so many beautiful memories made and we owe it all to the Lord above. To weddings, events, birthdays and announcements, we are grateful for another wonderful year. We couldn’t do it without our amazing friends, family and clients spreading the word and our MR Crew - Matt, Reggie, Billie and Maria! Yep, that’s right we still mom and pop our business with our small crew!

This year, we have so many things to celebrate within our family. Our time has been filled with joy and laughter and many busy moments; however we wouldn’t trade it for the world. We are absorbing each moment and treasuring family time! Halle will be graduating and attending Texas A&M University in the Fall. We have another Aggie in the family! Whoop! 👍🏼
