First, I want to give God all the praise, honor and glory for the journey he has me on. For turning my pain into purpose. For changing my life completely. For never taking his hand off of me. For healing, strength, peace, joy and wisdom. Thanking God for never giving up on me, even when I gave up on myself. For my support system that always showed up and showed out. All it took was one “yes” to God and everything changed. I said yes to obedience, yes to believing in myself like never before, and yes to becoming the woman He created me to be. Thanking God for his pace and his perfecting timing.

Secondly, these last 3 years of my life has been crazyyyyy & extremely hard. I literally went missing from the world. However, I didn’t allow my self to stay stuck in that dark place and for that, I am so proud of myself. I am so proud of me for keep going, keeping my head held high, and pushing through the hardest times of my life. I’m so proud of me for stepping out of my comfort zone and doing things I thought I couldn’t do. I am so proud of me for finishing what I started. I’m so proud of me for the changes that I have made in my life. I am so proud of the woman I have became over the last year. I am so proud of me for not giving up. I am so proud of me for my obedience and the sacrifices I made to get her. I am so proud of me for walking boldly into my purpose. I am so proud of me for being different. I know my younger self is so proud! I hear my inner child scream all the time.

This cap didn’t just complete my outfit, it crowned a journey of faith, sacrifice, and divine favor. 2 degree’s hotter and one more to GO! Graduated with HONORS!! 💕📖

Last year, I thought it was the end, but God was only getting started. In just 7 days, I’ll be graduating again, this time with my Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, a 3.947 GPA, and with Honors.

I worked two jobs just to pay for tuition, stayed up countless nights, and pushed through moments when giving up felt easier. But God, He held me, guided me, and never let go. Every step of this journey was ordered by Him. Also, my family, friends, church family and coworkers always poured into me and gave me that extra push.

Four years ago, this wasn’t the life I imagined for myself what so ever. If someone told me this would be my life, I would say they were lying! but look at God. Look at me now. 2 degrees hotter! One more to go!

THIS REBRAND WAS LITERALLY CURATED BY GOD.

05/04/2025 Best Day Of My Life. ✨

I kept saying I wanted to get baptized again as an adult, and yesterday I finally took that step. I’ve been washed clean and made new, mind, body, and spirit.

Growing up in a family that honored God laid the foundation but truthfully, God didn’t meet me in the church. He met me in my pain. He met me on the ground when the detective told me Jamour was gone. When the only person I wanted to talk to, my grandma was laying in the hospital and couldn’t speak. God placed me in a space where no one else could reach me, because He needed me to reach for Him. And even when He met me there, I wasn’t ready. In 2022, I pulled away. I was angry. Angry that God would give me someone I loved deeply, only to take him. Then take my grandmother soon after. God still didn’t give up on me. He met me in my silence. In my heartbreak. In my confusion. In my loneliness, in my brokenness, at my lowest. I continues to smile and I pushed through.

But in March 2024, something shifted. I got tired, tired of being angry, tired of being stuck, tired of not growing. I decided I wasn’t going to let pain have the final say. That was the turning point. I locked in. I picked up my Bible. I started praying, journaling, and actually spending time with God.

And from there, everything started changing—not just around me, but within me. I started healing, for real. I started feeling joy again. I graduated college in May 2024, and I’m on track to do it again in June 2025. I stopped cussing, stopped drinking. I started dressing differently. Thinking differently. Moving differently. My desires changed, and honestly… so did I.

2022 was my original graduation year but it didn’t go as planned. I lost two people who I loved dearly, who meant the world to me. I attempted to continue after loosing them both and FAILED! I went from making the dean’s list to failing a semester, dropping out and completely giving up on it. June 2023 I prayed and asked God if he blessed me with funding to go back to school I would sit down and give it everything I got. August 2023 I was blessed with scholarships to cover most of my tuition. Fast forward to December 2023 all I needed was 14 credits (5 classes) more to graduate. I took on those 5 in person classes while working 5 days a week. I doubted myself so much cause I didn’t think I could handle it. And I did everything I thought I couldn’t. It was all apart of Gods Plan. 🎓🩷

Granny & Jamour I did it just like I said I would. I know both of yall are proud of me. 🤍🕊️
