A musical journey of three wandering musicians, fusing their individual musical instincts into a common sonic space
They channel psychedelic improvisation through the abrasion of lo‑fi electronics, crafting raw, hypnotic textures that drift between ritual pulse and shimmering noise.

Many thanks to @lucagiorietto and for the amazing photos
We're gonna be soon on stage

Next Friday the 10th of July
A very special event for me
I will play live electronics with this new project ÖLOID and it's our first official show, here below more details

MIRROR TV PRESENTS!
MARLENE + ÖLOID + WATERDEER

Air conditioning available in one of the most beautiful venues in London!

MARLENE is a four-piece psych-folk band formed through chance meetings between Berlin and London. Their sound blends crackling folk vocals, Phrygian psych guitar, soulful bassoon, and dub-inspired bass into songs that balance the personal and political.

ÖLOID is the colorful journey of three wandering musicians, fusing their individual musical instincts into a common sonic space. They channel psychedelic improvisation through the abrasion of lo‑fi electronics, crafting raw, hypnotic textures that drift between ritual pulse and shimmering noise.

WATERDEER are a six piece dream pop band that blend ethereal melodies, downtempo rhythms, and haunting vocals to conjure a sound that wouldn't have been out of place on the early 90s Too Pure roster.

The next Mirror TV (#18) is on Friday 10 July at the lovely Folklore!

We are over the moon to have Marlene return with Mirror TV with their blend of fun, groove and sophistication. They will be joined by Öloid, who opened for Sophie Jamieson two months ago when they were still nameless.

MARLENE + ÖLOID

Marlene is a four-piece psych-folk band formed through chance meetings between Berlin and London. Their sound blends crackling folk vocals, Phrygian psych guitar, soulful bassoon, and dub-inspired bass into songs that balance the personal and political. Featuring artists such as Yr Lovely Dead Moon, Xxxenu, and Theale, and drawing from folk traditions, Brazilian street music, and the faded grandeur of the 1980s ring road. Marlene have played The Victoria and Biddle Bros.

Featuring Mirror TV regulars Shama Rahman and Moormur. by @moormur.official

Reggae, but make it cinematic. 🌀✨

@arowahsounds taking us on a dubbed-out journey, using the guitar to slice through the heavy foundation laid down by @moormur.official and @matt_duduryn. It’s all about those delay trails and harmonic artifacts—the kind of solo that feels like it’s reflecting off the canal walls. 🌊🎸

We’ve still got one "ghost" architect in this clip providing the atmosphere:
1️⃣ The keys player keeping the skank rock-solid 🎹

WE NEED THE HANDLE: If you know who them, drop their names in the comments! We need the full squad back for the next one. 👇💐

CATCH THE VIBRATION IN PERSON.

Lovely night at @folklorehoxton
Two wonderful Tuesdays in a row.
Thanks @shamarahman and @moormur.official to have gifted us with the first incarnation of a project that sounds fresh - dancy and apocalyptic at the same time.
@sophiejamiesonmusic simply immense.
@okdmr_ at their best. A rolling rolodex.

The sandbox just drifted into deep space. 🌀🌌

@moormur.official and @matt_duduryn locking into that heavy, hypnotic Reggae foundation while @arowahsounds paints the air with those delay-soaked guitar artifacts. This is the art of the "space" between the notes—where the rhythm breathes and the echoes take over.

WE NEED THE SEARCH PARTY: 🕵️‍♂️
We’ve got two mystery architects building this atmosphere and we need their handles:
1️⃣ The keys player keeping the skank alive 🎹
2️⃣ The synth wizard weaving those cosmic textures 🎛️

Tag them in the comments so we can get them their flowers and get the full squad on the board for May! 👇💐

Ok... So in the last months I met with @shamarahman and @andreagiommi82 and decided to work on something new that involves instruments improvising with electronic music and vice versa.
@mirr_ortv gave us the chance to perform it tomorrow @folklorehoxton!

Very excited to be the first act of an amazing night of music.
With us

OK Doomer is the alternative project of South London songwriter Lou Doyle. Alt-indie, dark synth-folk and orchestral arrangements converge.
Sophie Jamieson's deep, raw voice pivots from wobbling vulnerability to soaring, pent-up longing unleashed. Incredible songs!

Tomorrow at Folklore Hoxton, doors 7.30!

C u there! by @moormur.official
