Tomorrow marks 30 years since the second korn album debuted.
Twist, good God, adidas all being noticeable tracks from the album became core tracks for any Korn playlist. Under some dark angry tracks like ass itch, Mr. Rogers and my personal fav Kill You really bring out the anger from the first album while continuing to evolve their sound. Even having a comedic War cover vocalized by brain head welch Lowrider and reportedly snatching Chino Moreno from Deftones to rap Ice Cube's track Wicked. A true staple of funk metal right before making their grooviest album Follow the a leader.

An animation I made 2 years ago when KoRn's self-titled album hit the 30yr mark.
On this day 32 years @korn_official released their first record. Singles like Blind, Clown, f***t, and shoots and ladders played on the radio, their dark themed music videos were on MTV. The music had a lot of people confused and even scared. Korn became the godfather of numetal. I don't think my 3yr old brain understood what it was listening to at the time but whatever that sound was it liked it.
Personally Need to is probably my fav song since this album came to be. Predictable, lies, and of course Daddy being really heavy. jonathan davis, Brian head welch, James munky Shaffer, fieldy Reginald arvizu and David silveria all boys living in Bakersfield California really started something back then that would become a giant influence in not just my life but millions of others to this day .. This album is a perfect album.
Thank you guys for all the years of music, thank you Ray Luzier, and Ra Diaz for continuing the dark funk with these guys.
Here's to plenty of more tours, new music, new memories.

I can't believe that gears of war 3 came out over 15 years ago. This game and the original trilogy hold a special place in my heart. It was the start of online experiences, amazing campaign moments with friends and just a great gaming period of my life.
I was working at GameStop when this was released and the hype for this game was immense. Seeing this trailer play in my store every few minutes would always catch my attention seeing the time lapse showing decay while playing Mazzy Star s Into Dust. This trailer is just beautiful and the game really takes the phrase "brothers to the end" literally.
Sorry this isn't an art post, but I'm ready for gears of war E-Day and to play as Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago once more.

I usually don't post this stuff but if you're planning a trip to Halloween horror nights. This is how you can get through all mazes before the night ends. No RIP TOUR or EXPRESS! No extra money spending. I've been doing this for over a decade.
The only thing we missed was Nikki (hopefully she happens to roam these areas for you), and the purge water show.

I just wanted to do a quick illustration in honor of Sam Neill. Jurassic Park is one of my favorite movies of all time as to everyone else that grew up in the 90s. I think almost everyone grew a love for dinosaurs because of this movie. From his scene of seeing that dinosaurs are walking the earth again, to the shock of knowing there's a T-Rex and raptors on the island, Sam Neill brought Dr. Alan Grant to life. Thank you for making a forever love and fascination for dinosaurs, and thank you for being such a down to earth person according to those you've met and for your other movies like event horizon. Rest in Peace Sam Neill 🖤

The other day I stumbled upon the best movie soundtrack that I'd thought I'd never see on vinyl. The Queen of the Damned soundtrack is to me the best movie soundtrack next to The Crow soundtrack. The music, movie and book have a special place in my heart growing up in middle school and high school. I was that "goth" kid who would listen to this on repeat on my CD player and burnt copies for all my friends.
Being a big Korn fan, it's even better knowing that @officialjonathandavis of korn wrote a good handful of songs, played them, along side with @munky_korn
And @brianheadwelch . For the release vocals were sung by davis' friends, like Chester Bennington, Wayne static, David draiman, Jay Gordon and Marilyn manson.
I'm glad to have had a chance to hear Jonathan play these songs during his solo album release tour and it would be amazing to hopefully see @korn_official do it as a whole.

@korn_official just dropped some korn issues doll keychains (korn labubus if you want to be that person). I got a hold of 4 of these guys and as a huge korn fan, it's so Kool to have a mini issues doll available!
I need two more!!!

KoRn Issues was released November 16, 1999. The album had several variant covers because of a korn fanart contest. The main album cover became the ragdoll illustrated by a fan named Alfredo Carlos.

Another perfect album that you can sit through in a sitting. You have singles like Falling Away From Me that was first released in a South Park episode, Korn's groovy pirate ghost mystery, Make Me Bad, Somebody Someone, fan anthems like 4 U and my favorite of the album Dirty.

Thanks for another exciting piece of fan merch korn. Love you guys as always!

Pet loss is always tough. It just hit the two year mark yesterday of when my boy went over the rainbow bridge 🌈🌉 I can't help but miss him a little extra the past few days.
Pets become family. They become part of our daily lives, and a part of who we are. When they're gone, it feels like you've lost a piece of yourself.

The days get easier, but you never stop missing them or the little things they did.

I've lost pets before, but Koda left a mark unlike any other. I rescued him from an abusive family. Earning his trust took time, and trusting others took even longer. He was stubborn—my stubborn boy—but over the years he learned to love the people who loved him, but some people he gravitated to instantly.

Rescuing a pet is one of the most rewarding things you can do, but saying goodbye is one of the hardest.

One day I'll be ready to adopt again, but not yet. Until then, now you're resting and playing with the friends you've met and siblings you never got to meet.

I'll always love you, Koda.

Just a simple, short animation I made of him.

24 years of KoRn Untouchables. I remember being a kid when this album came out and it was crazy to think that the album sounded very different than the previous albums, but it was in a good way!
I can listen to this album on repeat, every track honestly feels like they have their own sound that you can place in other albums. Blame, hollow Life, hating, alone I break and no ones there are definitely on the list of my favorite songs from all of Korn's career.

This scene from the Devil May Cry anime gave me Cooler's Revenge vibes for the minute it lasted. The only bad part is that the anime isn't great (sorry chat, this isn't my dmc games). This scene was done right. The DBZ team knew how to add heavy hitting tracks back. Forever remembering the first time I was in awe to see/hear my favorite music in my favorite anime as a kid.
