Last art hoorah of 2025 hours before 2026 in our part of the globe~
Some doodle studies and wonderings after/before my daily reading of Game Changers about Scott, Kip, and the people around them.
Been on a whirlwind journey with the Heated Rivalry show, I then proceeded to the book line that inspired it by @rachelreidwrites .
At this point, I'm almost at 90% of the book and Im hesitating on finishing it-- I just parted ways with my favorite pairing in the adaptation, and I don't feel like parting again with their future in the adaptation uncertain 😭 *sigh*

Well, here's to all of us and 2026. 🙏🥹

"You two are idiots..."

I was not in a good emotional space regarding friendship when I got to know #HeatedRivalry and Elena and Kip's friendship. And reading #GameChangers Elena back in Dec. 2025, when the attrition in our line of work is SO HIGH, when it all went south for Kip in the book friends-wise, I got hella affected and saddened.
We all just want a bestie like her dont we? 🥺

My first ever fan-edit, and its because of Heated Rivalry 😅.... took me 25 years fandomizing and allat.

Inspired by that heartwrenching "sunshine" related line in ep.3-- For some reason my brain homed in on my 2000s era music memories and got me this 98 Degrees song.... 😅

This is for the SKippers, newfound and the book OGs who assured us and helped us defend #SKip from the hate they got post-ep.3.

To more success of the show forward~

JUNE and MAY Song from @brotherssunnetflix 🥰

Always love me my badass girlies who can fight! And these two were just amazing characters. @alicehewkin did such a magnificent job making each sister SUPER distinct (I read the creator hinted of a third sister named APRIL but was scrapped? That wouldve been awesome! 😫)

I'm just so won over by this series... I was initially going in this for @michelleyeoh_official , but I ended up discovering more talented Asian peeps: @justin_chien , @jonxuezhang , @jennyyangtv to name a few... Always love it when that happens! 🤩

Crossing my fingers and toes for a 2nd season~ Until then, I shall continuously rewatch. 😌🍿

Was so happy to see this fella return in SF6, even more that his new design looked real neat.

Whoever in R&D designed that livestream camera thingamajig on his chest? I see you, and I THANK you. 😏🤌

✨Manon + Pearl✨
✨Marisa + Jasper✨

The moment these two characters for #StreetFighter6 were announced and we got to know about their background the #StevenUniverse analogy just fell into place. 🤩

Never seen any of the past staging of the Zaturnnah musical, I was not informed back then of musical theater (local or INTL). But all that changed when I saw another @carvercomics IP's turned to a musical: Kung Paano Ako Naging Leading Lady.

Fast forward to now, the moment I got news that @ateneobluerepertory was doing a staging of the ZsaZsa musical and that it starred Leading Lady(2015) alums I immediately skimped for moneys to catch at least one show (I already have experience with their quality coz I saw their staging of Leading Lady back in 2017).

And boy was it a night 🤩

@kimsmolina is Kim Molina, I know the quality that she can brandish from the get go. She soared with her role as always vocally... and having lots of comedy experience, she aced those moments.

@kakkiness - Other than Kim, she was the initial reason I wanted to see this ZsaZsa staging. I know she can sing AF, but never have I seen it at length personally. Loved her take on Queen Femina, so well done. Any form of qualms, TO THE DOOR.

@phipalmos - Embodied Ada's snark, firey determination, and vulnerable moments to a tee...

@akosialmond - The command on the vocals, YUN LANG. I dare say he rivalled Kim's performance as a whole vocally. A fun and hella elevated take on Didi.

@juancarlosgalano - I only knew him as an actor, but a theater actor? Now sir... (My toxic behavior blurting that out to him... thanks for not taking offensedt 😂 ). I dare say, a perfect Dodong... lewks, check, built? check check... mmm performance? Good God, that "Walang Ibang Pangarap Kundi Siya" performance!? 😵

Other members of the ensemble that delighted me were the Amazonistas: NoraA & DinaB were a hoot, SharonC was FETCH, and VilmaS served vocals, henny!

All in all, I was so entertained, makes me wonder what the show couldve been with a bigger space. Kudos @missy.maramara and the entire BlueRep company!

My main grievance was I only able to watch one of the Didis, Adas, and Dodongs 😥... I really wanted to watch the alternate Queen Femina too. But alas, budget budged and I wasnt able to.

Meeting Kween Regine, Precious Paula & Viñas Deluxe was quite THE bonus 😭
