I am so grateful for the person you have helped me become and all the endless support you have shown me since day one. 5 years of us! You can literally do anything and I’m always amazed by you. I love you Viviana! I hope we ride scooters, make food, eat food, and watch movies forever. 🫠🫶🏼❤️🥹 by @moralitydictates

Harvest day!

I feel so lucky I met Jacob of @roots_organic_farm. The fact he was willing to grow this corn is truly special. We started a fire together with just a stick. It was a magical day I will never forget. Open fire oyster mushroom tacos over red oak! Tortillas on a comal with live fire. Doesn’t get much better than that!! Thanks to everyone who helped with the harvest. I cannot wait to nixtamal all this locally grown maíz. So much gratitude. taken in Santa Ynez, California by @moralitydictates

I had the privilege of visiting Jacob Grant’s farm yesterday. He’s been growing corn in Santa Ynez, and we first talked about masa about six months ago—he’s been experimenting with different varietals for a while. I had brought him some blue and yellow corn, which he planted.
Today, I got to see the progress of the milpa and explore his collection of other maíz at Root Farms. It was truly an incredible experience, and I feel so grateful that our paths crossed. I can’t wait to harvest this and make some masa. taken in Santa Ynez, California by @moralitydictates
