This performance reimagines the classical elements as living expressions of feminine energy. Through voice, rhythm, movement, and visual art, it journeys through womanhood in all its forms fierce, fluid, grounded, and free.

Led by Karachi based sound artist and curator Babar N Sheikh, whose work bridges ritual, sonic heritage, and experimental music, the performance brings together traditional practitioners and contemporary artists in a powerful act of collaboration.

Featuring Natasha Baig, Sagar Valjee, Mohsin Raza Shah, Rahat Ali, Emaad Rahman, Sana Yasir, Akhtar Qayyum, Noman Ali Rajper, and Rizwanullah Khan, this is an immersive experience where sound becomes devotion and movement becomes memory.

Join us for a performance that listens, remembers, and transforms.

Once we had recorded the vocal demo and the acoustic guitar, we felt that an electric guitar would add a lot more rawness to the song which is when we reached out to the legend @morashapew to come and do his magic. Here are a few clips from that session 🥲❤️

Song will be out soon ✌️

In this episode of the Aleph Podcast we had the pleasure of inviting the very talented session guitar player Mohsin Raza Shah.

You can watch the full episode of the Aleph podcast with @morashapew on YouTube.com/aforaleph (link in bio)

Mohsin’s father introduced him to music at a very young age, his interest in music developed more towards classic rock. His keen experimental techniques laid the groundwork for his first band, @darveshofficial - who were the runner-ups in the @pepsibattleofthebandsofficial As a sideman, he played with Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, @itsjimmykhan @miragetheband and @alitariqmusic to name a few. He has also been working alongside @saadhayat as a guitar player for his projects. Currently, he plays with @aliazmatofficial live band and is fresh off tour to join us for this episode!
