My op-ed. Go see movies in theaters, go see live performances. Go out to IRL experiences and decide for yourself what you think about them sans external opinions and friggin reviews. Do we as a collective no longer trust ourselves to form our own organic, AKA analog ideas and opinions about things? For fuck’s sake. Live a little. Take a risk that it might suck or that you might interact with your fellow cosmonauts on planet Earth. And let art in whatever its medium, affect you. I recently rewatched The Man Who Fell To Earth and it left me feeling so isolated and literally like an alien. But it had the best scene, “I found one of your records.” “Oh. Did you like it?” “Not really.” “Hm. Well, I didn’t make it for you. I made it for my wife.” But it’s like not everything is gonna resonate with everyone. And that’s what’s great about it. And the freedom to make art that someone will hate is fantastic because the right people will be enchanted. Idk these are witching hour thoughts. But Fkn pls make up your own mind about what you think and check in with yourself. You’re a real person- don’t get sucked into the robot inevitability vacuum. Open your heart to the unknown. Vibes feeling volatile? One more day of the chaos of the Mercury “wobble” as it moves fully into its regular orbit - another couple of weeks in the shadow until we hit 26 degrees Cancer, which was the start of it. And Saturn stations retrograde until late December. So expect to feel the need to restructure both personally and to ride the waves of the collective restructuring. It’s nonstop nonsense with both Pluto and Neptune retrograde at 4 degrees - in Aquarius and Aries, respectively. If you’re alive RN, you signed up for this madness 😩😭🥳🙄 So the best thing to do is get deep. Get centered. Get clear. Get DEEPLY intentional about what you want. It kinda comes down to this: do you believe that the individual matters? Or do you prefer not to think and to just abdicate your lot in life to whoever shouts the loudest - whether it’s true or not? If you don’t like being told how to live your life, then you best knuckle down and buckle up to show up for your democratic nation. If you don’t like figuring out your own life AND you love also telling other people how to conduct themselves, that’s not exactly a democratic philosophy. I’m in the “live free or die” vibe. And the “live and let live” philosophy. UNLESS you’re literally inflicting harm on others. But I’m talking about freedom of choices and to be fully whomever the Creator/Creatrix intended you to be. This thing of women not wanting the right to vote is inane. Mind your own business, honey. The rest of us actually love our government to be actually small - such that we get to decide what to read, watch, wear, do, learn, participate in our communities by legally voting to advocate for ourselves, our kids, our families, etc. If you don’t wanna vote, don’t. If you don’t like something, you get to choose. But don’t try to take away other people’s rights just because you don’t like to be able to make adult choices and decisions. Hey this week is the beginning of some astrological shifts to a better direction, so I wanted to make sure that you had a heads up! On Friday, Mercury in Cancer moves into its Retrograde shadow phase. Back up your tech, make sure your car is good - car being home on the road - and because Cancer is all about home, cozy house stuff, triple check any house tech stuff. Not the optimal time to sign with a new contractor from Friday through the next few weeks. And Uranus in ♊️ might bring to light things having to do with home/house repairs - that kinda thing. Oh how I love thee. Love has been nearly fatal many times. My late Gram always said to find someone I’d wanna be across from at the breakfast table.
