A little reintroduction🫶🏼

I’m Kierstyn—the girl behind More Than Cotton, where crochet meets western fashion.

I’ve always loved fashion, creating with my hands, and finding ways to make everyday pieces feel a little more special. I was the kid who would crochet during recess and was constantly filling up fashion sketchbooks with outfits and designs. It is so special to look back and see how those little passions have grown into what More Than Cotton is today.

More than anything, my faith is at the heart of who I am and what I do. I pray that More Than Cotton is a reflection of that—to create with purpose, share the gifts God has given me, and encourage others with the hope and truth found in Jesus. Since I started my business in 2019, it has evolved so much as God has changed my heart over the years, and it reminds me of how faithful God is!

If you have been here for a while, you have seen how my focus has shifted to western fashion and upcycling denim pieces with my crochet. So much love and intention goes into each piece, and I can’t wait to keep creating. I have a little booth most Saturdays at the @nashvillefarmersmarket and set up locally here in TN. I also teach crochet classes which is one of my favorite ways to connect with you guys and share my passion of crochet!

Outside of More Than Cotton, I am also a celebrity wardrobe styling assistant and personal wardrobe stylist here in Nashville. I love working behind the scenes and being a part of an industry that I have been passionate about for so long.

I think that’s all for now! Thank you for being here and following along with me. I am so blessed to get to blend all of my passions into this business and share it with all of you.

It’s gonna be hard not to keep this one for myself!! I have been wanting to do this color combo for a while now and when I got this jacket, I knew the it would be perfect for it.

The sewn in Bible verse is John 14:1🫶🏼

Come snag it at the Nashville Farmer’s Market this weekend or dm me & I’ll ship it to you!
I wear a size small/medium for reference.

There’s no place like the farm🌾

Big thank you to @abbi_douglas for letting me drag her around in the heat for a little bit, and for being the most beautiful model!! These are some of my favorite pieces of the summer✨

All that are available are on my site and on my story, message me to claim and thank you for being here🫶🏼 by @morethancotton

A Summer favorite💜

I have made so many denim pieces over the last few months that you guys haven’t seen yet, so I’ll be trying to post a bit more! It’s been a little crazy, but getting a little more time to create lately.

I don’t do a ton of colored denim jackets, but this one turned out so beautifully. And it was my first purple piece!! Hope ya love it🫶🏼

One of a kind🫶🏼

I’ve been missing the farmers market a little extra lately, but I’m so excited for March and slowly prepping for the Spring🤭I finally got this cowgirl hat up on the site, along with some other pieces from the last few months. Better late than never right?😅

Site is linked in my bio, or message me to claim & for customs!

Tis the season✨

Taking a break from the denim pieces to give this bandana glam top a moment. All the rhinestones and gems are hand-sewn or individually put on by me, and the extra time and needle pokes are definitely worth it when they turn out like this!! I really only take custom orders for these, so message me if you want something special for a concert, rodeo, all the things. Hope you guys love this one and have a great weekend🤍

Lots of love put into this one🌼

I am finally back at the Nashville Farmers Market, and this first weekend was so sweet! I missed it so much and I can’t wait to keep showing you guys some of the pieces I’ve made over the last few months. I haven’t been able to crochet a ton, but I also have lots of ideas that I’m excited to bring to life.

This vest I actually made right at the end of last season and it’s one of my favorites so far. It was the first time I did flower panels in the front, and the colors mixed so perfectly all together with the denim. Hope you love it🫶🏼 by @morethancotton

Weekend WIPS

I got lots of sewing to do this week before the Gallatin Square Fest this weekend, but I am so excited to finish these pieces up!

I’ll make sure to drop them on my story first for all of you to claim before they can sell at the event too. Lots of different sizes and designs coming!

Customs are always open for denim pieces! Just message me if you have something denim you want recreated🤍
