Hello, March 💚

Today we’re kicking off the month with sellers saying goodbye to their very first home they purchased as they successfully closed on their home sale…

…and another first time homebuyer who is celebrating having our offer accepted over the weekend after many negotiations! So we are now preparing to get her to the closing table successfully as well.

These girls are so cute I had to post them on my feed 😍🩷

Galentines with a baby sprinkle 😅 with my girls was amazing! It’s so hard to get our schedules aligned where we’re able to ALL get together at once, but we made it happen and I’m so glad we did!

Good food ✔️
Good drinks ✔️
Good conversation ✔️
Sharing gifts and nuggets of wisdom with our girl Kelsey as she is preparing to become a first time mommy any day now! ✔️

So many women will say they don’t really have solid friendships, I’m one of the blessed ones who can say that’s not the case for me. This particular group came together 10+ years ago and has been solid & supportive ever since through getting married, having a lot of babies 😂, and just leveling up! Love them down! 🩷🩷

How it started vs How it’s going…

Ten years ago, Saturday Dec 27th 2014 at 6:30 pm my hubby and I became parents to an 8 lb 2 oz baby boy. Fast forward a decade later that baby boy is now a BIGGG boy! A young man! I literally can’t be more proud of him. Super intelligent, funny, charming, handsome, kind and respectful. God truly blessed us when He sent you into our lives! I love you to INFINITY and beyond, sonshine! I pray God keeps us here to continue watching you grow into an even more amazing young man. I know there’s so much greatness in store for your future.

Gracing your timeline with a random fact…

Did you know that once upon a time single women weren’t able to purchase property? This week makes 50 years since women finally were granted the right to obtain a mortgage exclusively in their name!

50 years! That’s all! Prior to that, they were often forced to have their husband or another male co-signer obtain the loan on their behalf. 😒

And now today the tables have turned…single women are purchasing real estate at a much higher rate than single male counterparts!

For all of my independent ladies who I’ve helped buy or sell real estate, take time to reflect on the real privilege that is; a privilege a generation before you didn’t always have. Y’all are the best & I absolutely love being apart of that milestone with you🥰

8/15/17.

Today makes 7 years in the bag since I became a licensed real estate agent! 7 whole years!

7 years in the most challenging but most REWARDING job I’ve ever had!

7 years I’ve had to commit to not giving up; keeping myself encouraged and encouraging others.

7 years of learning tons of new information that I had no prior knowledge of in 2017. I just knew I had to try something.

While I’ve watched others in the industry and admire their success, I have to remind myself that I’ve been successful too in my own right.

I’ve been able to help people win and achieve MAJOR goals as a result of my efforts. I’ve accomplished goals for MYSELF & MY FAMILY as a result of my efforts.

Thank you God for the vision you gave me initially in 2016, allowing it to resurface and me to bring it to fruition in 2017, and now to still be here in 2024 when a lot of people would have been gone years ago.

I pray for many more years full of abundance, new clients, new relationships, and life changing opportunities.
