~Literally~ don’t understand how I got so lucky🍀 Utah doesn’t make it easy to leave, but hard goodbyes illustrate profound love🫶 Had an epic send off.. Savored the things that bring me the most joy; time with my people & time in the mountains❤️‍🔥🏔️

God has continued to illuminate the path, I would be nothing without him. The last photo has been my screensaver for the last several months. As I like to say, Jesus is the “Master Mountaineer”!!!! Life is full of mountains; the literal and the metaphorical. These climbs can be long and strenuous, pulling and stretching us beyond our prior limits. While the path may be difficult, the new perspective & gratification that come upon the summit bring immense joy and growth. The view is better and so are WE.

Here’s to ascending these mountains with Christ, the one who knows the trail better than anyone. Mountains are a beautiful parallel to life. May we DARE to pursue them!!!! As I embark on one of the steepest quests of my life this far, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and stoke.. ready to fully embrace it all— the thrill, the pain, and whatever awaits at the top. Can I just love bomb this guy real quick?! Real lovey dovey over here because I have the bestest sweetest guy in the whole world!!!! Distance has been a rollar coaster and we’ve barely dipped our toes. I’m so grateful to have a partner who is just as passionate about my goals as I am. I had the once in a lifetime honor this Father’s Day weekend. After being commissioned only 2 weeks ago, I got to take part in the military honors at my grandpa’s funeral.

On behalf of a grateful nation, I presented the colors to my dear aunts and father as a symbol of appreciation for grandpa Chris’s service. I lack the words to express what this moment meant to me, and I know it meant the world to him.

I didn’t know grandpa served in the military until after his passing. He was always ecstatic for me and my chosen path but never mentioned his time in the army. He had a special way of making everyone feel like their accomplishments were second to none. I hope to make him proud!

Grandpa was a “man in the arena”, fully embracing all of life’s opportunities and challenges with courage and zeal. He loved God and made service a hallmark of his life. This weekend was a mountain-top moment as we celebrated his accomplishments and impact. I feel so connected with him through our shared love for aviation & climbing mountains and will think of him every time I fly or hit the trails. (And every time I go to a rodeo— Grandpa was as cowboy as they come, breaking horses from the time he was 8!)

Funerals have a way of recentering your heart and perspective. On the back of my grandparent’s head stone are the words “Look beyond yourself”, words that have the potential to change the world. Words that I want to do better at living by.

No dream is too big. No mountain too high. Cheers to you Grandpa! Cheers to your legacy! Cheers to chasing mountain-top moments! Cheers to looking beyond ourselves! And cheers to being in the arena! taken in Monticello, Utah by @morgan_flyman

Big weekend — Graduated from Officer Training School as a 2d Lieutenant. My Uncle Tyler rendered my first salute, an all-time mountain-top moment. Humbled to be surrounded by such stellar individuals and for the opportunity to be a part of the world’s greatest Air Force! I’m grateful for the lessons learned and am looking forward to the journey ahead✈️ ALWAYS WITH HONOR!!!

And a special thank you to my amazing husband and family for supporting me as I pursue this path. I’m the luckiest person in the world!!!❤️‍🔥

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you, the Trans Catalina Trail 🌞🫠 My 5th Annual All-Women’s Backpacking trip truly could not have been better. One of the most unique trips I’ve been on. Absolutely obsessed with this tradition and the priceless moments I experience each time. Get outside friends!! And stay out!!❤️‍🔥💋

Just another highlight reel — but I truly feel like the luckiest person in the world. Lately, I’ve found myself frustrated and overwhelmed by all the hurt happening in the world. It’s strange to witness such sharp contrasts in life circumstances. I catch myself taking so much for granted, and I’m learning to savor life’s simplest treasures ❤️‍🔥 Cheers to more gratitude.
