my post is a little late but i’ve taken the past 2 weeks to sit and reflect on this beautiful production. Words will never be able to fully express how wonderful and life changing this show has been for me. Alice will forever hold a very special place in my heart as from the moment i read the script i saw myself in her and she has truly helped me heal parts of myself that needed mending.
To my cast: thank you from the very bottom of my heart for giving me your trust and putting your all into this show. I cannot imagine this show without every single one of you. you’re all incredible and i cannot thank you all enough for trusting me as your alice. your love and support throughout every rehearsal did not go unnoticed. i love you all conditionally.
and tommy thank you for dealing with me while i was tired, frustrated, and stressed. i cannot picture playing this role with anyone but you. i am so grateful you decided to cave and do this show with me. to mamma mia and back i’m so grateful i have you as a friend.
to aileen: thank you for giving me grace while learning all my lines i know it was stressful for everyone towards the end. i also want to thank you for trusting me with alice and allowing me to make her my own and play with her to make her feel to genuine and real. you directed this show keeping its messages and beautiful moment while also making it our own. i am forever grateful for this opportunity and i cannot thank you enough.
