Grolbera Inventory
.
I needed some practice with designing props so I made it a project to create a prop sheet for my Boreaor world. This sheet shows what a typical Grolbera (humanoid in the Boreaor world) would have on them during a typical day. As hunter-gatherers with good knowledge of technology and tools, Grolbera aren’t limited to just natural materials (though that is their preference) and often carry a sharp axe and knife for cutting, self-defense, and generally anything they might need. The journal was very fun to get to do, since this project originated as an unofficial bestiary. The journal here actually shows what the outside of the bestiary would actually look like! I can’t wait to revisit this project and maybe even do a breakdown of the houses the Grolbera live in.

Winter Camp ⛺️❄️🗻

I wanted to revisit the wintery world of Boreaor and also create a new environment piece for my portfolio so I went back and did some thinking about how the humanoids in this world may live. I’ve taken a lot of inspiration for the humanoids of Boreaor from nomadic cultures, particularly Evenki culture. So I kept rolling with that inspiration and how a culture might structure their homes to be transportable and also sound in winter weather.
.
Overall, I’m pretty satisfied with how this turned out and I can’t wait to revisit Boreaor!

I Choose You!
.
A piece for @softsweetmello ! It was great getting to dissect Pokemon Trainer styles and figure out how I want to stylize Pokemon. This would honestly be so fun to offer as a commission style too 👀

Princeton 🐾😈

A sneaky little critter for sunkenheavens on Bluesky! I’ve started doing more chibi style commissions as a little break inbetween my bigger projects and I like how the style has progressed. The chibis feel cuter and more sleek than my previous attempts, so hopefully I get to do more of them!

Klown Kart 🐶🐾

A raffle prize for crayonheart over on Bluesky! I’ve never drawn a Mario kart before, it was a nice little challenge! I tried to make this feel very poster-like and I’m pretty satisfied with how it came out.

Fursona Drawover 🩸🦁

I’ve got to work on being more active here, woops 😅 This was made back when Iron Lung released, I thought it would be fun to try my hand at a drawover! It was so fun to match up the lighting but still get to add a stylized character in, I plan to do more of these in the future.

A piece for @astleythebear over on Bluesky. This was a great piece to work on, especially since it was a birthday piece! It was great practice for getting back into drawing environments and forest life.
