STREET SOUNDS RADIO - DJ & PRESENTER ACADEMY We are beyond excited to announce that we have officially launched our DJ & Presenter Academy! After many months of planning, we were finally able to execute our first ever class in our ongoing courses, teaching students how to DJ & present radio. To everyone who attended, thank you for allowing us to give something back, the progress you have all already made is astonishing! All students who attended yesterday were enrolled by Southend Carers. Deniece Dimmick from Southend Carers says: “I would just like to say the biggest thank you to Street Sounds Radio Academy for making this happen! Music is an outlet for so many people, and this was certainly the case for our Young Carers who enjoyed learning the basics of what it takes to be a DJ & Radio Presenter” If you are an aspiring DJ and/or radio presenter and would like to join us, then don’t worry if you’ve never touched DJ/radio equipment! We are placed to offer students a unique ‘workshop’, where they can gain hands-on experience, with exceptional facilities and tutors. We have our own studios and below us, where the majority of the lectures will take place is DJ Superstore, one of the most successful and prestigious DJ equipment suppliers in the UK. We offer three different levels of courses: Beginner, Intermediate and Advance. Our beginner course took place yesterday; but we will also be running Intermediate and Advance courses. Check out our TikTok account for an insight into what it's like to attend one of our classes! @streetsoundsradio More information on how to apply will be coming soon! 🎶🎶 by @morgankhanuk

ALEXA, NOW LIVE for the Crucial Hip Hop & Electro radio station! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lBMhNpPQaI We launched the Crucial Hip Hop & Electro radio station three weeks ago and as I posted over the weekend, to celebrate reaching 40k in the Street Sounds Facebook Group, the unprecedented number of people listening to the new Hip Hop & Electro station has surprised us! Apologies, if you had a problem listening, we have had to increase (again) the number of streams as the listening figures have continuously hit the limit. Great new! Alexa is now working for the Crucial Hip Hop & Electro station. Alexa skills - Crucial Hip Hop & Electro Station: (Please note a change from the original instructions published). First time say “ALEXA ENABLE CRUCIAL STREET SOUNDS” Thereafter say “ALEXA PLAY CRUCIAL STREET SOUNDS RADIO” What is the Street Sounds Crucial Electro & Hip Hop radio station? The best classic Hip Hop & Electro, uninterrupted, full-length versions and uncensored (Parental Advisory, as we stickered on vinyl & CD). by @morgankhanuk
