Through my mom’s eyes 🤍

Today marks another year since my mom passed, and I don’t know how but somehow, this is also the year that I have known her as long as I have missed her..

I found these photos that she took on her last trip to Italy on an old USB drive, and it feels so special to have these little pieces of the world that she got to see through her own eyes. Knowing that she stood in these places, took these photos, and saw the beauty in these moments makes them feel so incredibly meaningful. It’s a small way of getting to see something the way she once did.

I miss her in ways I don’t always know how to explain. It’s like I’m homesick for a person I’ll never see again in this lifetime.

I love and miss you, Mom.
Thank you for always watching over me and Dad. 🤍 by @morganmallette
