#ThrowbackThursday to Juneteenth Weekend 2026! ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

The African American Comic Expo was the very first convention I ever got to host! 🥹 Thank you @blerdover for the honor! 🙌🏾

I love that Blackness is not a monolith. And I love that there are endless ways for us to celebrate Juneteenth and honor the people who fought for us to have the joy we have today. From line dancing, to strolling, to cosplaying, I wanna spend every Juneteenth with the BLERDS! 🖤🖤🖤

Flew to St. Louis, Missouri to see the Anime Aesthetic art exhibit curated by @stloutopia and @gateway_blerds! 🎨

This was my first time ever witnessing something like this, and lemme tell you, it was breathtaking! Viewing these beautiful pieces brought me so much joy and reaffirmed me that the human touch will NEVER die. ✊🏾

I left feeling so inspired and very hopeful for the future. I hope to bring something like this down to Alabama one day! ❤️

The exhibit is up until October 9th if you’d like to visit! 🙌🏾
