Celebrating 3 years married today 💍

As most of you know, my wedding ring was stolen from our home in June. It was a pain I would never wish on anyone. But as heartbreaking as it was, it also put so much into perspective.

A ring is symbolism. What it represents can never be taken.

The life I get to experience with Peter is so rich. Over the past year—when so many layers of life were being peeled away—he has been my constant. In the midst of losing people, old versions of myself, and an identity I no longer recognize, I’ve learned what truly matters.

No one can take away the love and magic we felt on our wedding day. Our wedding was truly perfect. And as our love continues to grow and evolve, one thing remains so true:

Being present in your marriage is the greatest gift.

To have someone who loves you on your worst days. Someone you can truly count on. Someone whose arms feel like home.

This past week, exhausted, I fell into Peter’s arms—and the thought struck me like lightning:

This is what matters.

A beautiful home. A husband who loves me. Our little kitties. And a life that is still so full of love, even after everything.

Happy 3 years, Peter. I hope I get to marry you in every lifetime.
