“And We Sing a New World Into Creation.”

I am profoundly honored to be the musical director and featured artist for the 37th Annual All Souls Procession in Tucson, Arizona, November 6-8, 2026.

I will be holding two vocal workshops leading up to the weekend, one virtual and one in person at @solar_culture_gallery on Wednesday November 4.

On Friday, November 6 I am performing at the MSA Annex. On Sunday evening, I will be leading all of us who have processed for our lost loved ones in singing a unified tone together as one voice to begin the grand finale performance with @flamchen .

On September 9th, I had the opportunity to photograph Bear McCreary’s show at The Crocodile in Seattle.

The evening began when Morgan Sörne, an American singer and multi-instrumentalist, took the stage. He stood at the center of a 180-degree workstation equipped with microphones, MIDI triggers, and controllers, from which he layered vocalizations, percussion, and harmonies into intricate compositions in real time. As he assembled each piece, his ritualistic and expressive movements mirrored the rhythmic pulse of the music. The stage lights, sometimes blue, others red, deepened the somber atmosphere of the performance.

After Morgan’s set, the intimate workstation at the center of the stage gave way to a full drum kit and multiple microphone stands, signaling the shift from a solitary performance to the larger-scale production that would follow.

Our esteemed guest Morgan Sorne returns as Musical Director for the 2026 Finale Ceremony and offers these thoughts:
Through the cracks of the constructs we sing a new world into creation. As the walls of Jericho came crashing down from the voices of all as one, so too we shall unify our voices in one tone, releasing that which is dead and dying and make space for new life to emerge.- Morgan Sorne
The Theme is offered as a focus for contemplation and inspiration. We hope to open up opportunities for creativity and exploration of the ideas and general vibe of the times.
Sorne will be offering vocal exploration workshops as part of this year's theme.

“𝗔 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗮𝗿𝗻” - An album of Björk cover songs, is now available on all streaming platforms worldwide.

In 2013, I recorded a collection of songs written by @bjork with two rules in mind: one, to record a complete song each day, as I was about to embark on a US tour and two, to only use my voice for melodies and household objects for percussion.

The result was something intimate, vulnerable and unadorned, a love letter to a fellow artist who has remained a shining North Star for me over the years.

Now, thirteen years later, I have revisited these original recordings, polishing and remixing them with deeper clarity and brighter dynamics. PLUS, I discovered a sixth rendition which I had forgotten I had recorded!

Special thanks to @ben_sedano_tinydog for doing a fabulous job of mastering these songs.

“A Ball of Yarn” is available on all streaming platforms now.

I will be performing some of these songs during my live sets starting next week as I join @bearmccreary as support for his West Coast Singularity: Ekleipsis Tour.

I hope you enjoy these expressions of love.
