We’re beyond excited to launch the official Morii Records website!

This marks the next chapter in the progression of the label - from humble beginnings as a two-man team with zero investment.

We’ve always been, and always will be, a music-first operation. Everything we’ve done prioritises the audio and our artists’ releases.

That core focus hasn’t changed, but we’re upping the levels in every respect. We’re at a stage where we can invest more time into the label itself, building our ecosystem and community.

Go check out the new website and make sure you subscribe to our crew - where you’ll get all label releases, news, and events delivered straight to your inbox, SMS, or DMs before anyone else.

So yeah, we’re hyped! New music is dropping this Friday with Die by the Sword’s stacked Swerve (Remixed) EP.

Big up for all the support so far. Head to the 🔗 to check out / sub.

Onwards and upwards!

𝗨𝗞𝗙 𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗘𝗟 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗧𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 🧠

We’re honoured that @ukf has done a feature length label spotlight on Morii Records.

UKF was a huge part of both of our journeys getting into bass music, so to now have our label featured under that banner means more than you can imagine.

Head to the piece to read what we’re all about, swipe for some highlights!

Big up for all the support and more music to come soon.

𝗗𝗕𝗧𝗦 - 𝗦𝗪𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘 (𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗜𝗫𝗘𝗗) 🧠

Get ready to enter the fast lane, as Die by the Sword is taking his cult classic Swerve up another level with Swerve (Remixed) - including his wild, sub-destroying VIP - and remixes from dons in the global bass music scene @enigmadubzofficial, @neumonic and @speedtektracks of @ternionsound fame.

Road tested supporting @distinctmotive across North America this summer - the Swerve VIP comes at you like a terrifying solo drive in the dead of night, set to accelerate your pulse, change the gear of your frequency receptors and turn up the sub’s turbo chargers.

With atmospheres that leave you feeling anxiety stricken, percussion that has you putting the pedal to the metal and low end pressure taking you into the fast lane - this brooding hit of menacing, free wheeling adrenaline will stick in your consciousness well beyond its three minute journey.

The remix package is quite simply outrageous, with label boss ENiGMA Dubz adding his weight with a fiery drum & bass banger, bay-area US UKG wizard drops his groove laden 2-step garage banger and Ternion Sound’s Speedtek adds another dimension to the package with his sub-fuelled breakbeat rave-destroyer.

First you got swerved by DBTS, now Swerve (Remixed) is gonna leave your vehicle written off in a ditch. Approach with caution.

𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗦 🪩

Following Space EP’s lead single Fading setting the tone with its melodic 2-step UKG goodness - @cortescomusic are back with ‘Shimmers’ a collaboration with Dutch production prodigy @fivesunsonvenus.

Shimmers is a broodier, more cyclic & breaks-heavy collaboration - yet, even with this deeper underground grit, the track beautifully preserves the EP’s signature blend of sublime euphoria & sonic grandeur.
