You thought you got a dog. Turns out, you got a healer. 🧡

Before me, there was Mori. My big sister. She was the rescued one — Mom brought her home and gave her a whole new life.

And you know what Mori did with that second chance? She spent it healing people. She knew when Mom was sad. She'd press her warm head into Mom's lap like it was the most important work in the world. Because to her, it was.

Mori taught me everything I know. She taught me how to sit a little closer when the house feels too quiet. How to slow down and notice the good smell of rain, the perfect sunbeam on the rug, the way a chicken jerky tastes better when you really savor it.

She crossed the rainbow bridge in May 2024, but she's still here — in every gentle thing I do. When I rest my head on Mom's lap, that's Mori. When I stay close on a hard day, that's Mori too. 🤍

So if you have a furry soul friend — hold them a little tighter tonight. And if one has ever healed your heart, you know exactly what I mean.

I did something bad today, and I had a choice: act natural and blame the cushion, or come clean 😬

Turns out my face has never been good at lying. So I owned it. And Mommy just laughed and said, “Thank you for being honest.” Hiding the truth felt heavy, but the moment I owned it, I felt light again. A clear heart is the comfiest place to rest. 🧡

Some days feel heavy. Joy knows. 🐾

Do more things that make your tail wag. 🐾

That's my whole philosophy, really. I don't have a five-year plan. I don't have a vision board. I have a sunny spot on the rug, a chicken jerky at 4pm, and Mom's lap whenever I decide it's mine.

Humans are so funny. You make lists of things you *should* do, then feel guilty about the list. Meanwhile I'm over here doing exactly what makes me happy — napping in sunbeams, sniffing every bush on our walk like I'm reading the morning news, and spinning in circles when the treat bag crinkles.

I'm not saying quit your job and chase squirrels. (Although... have you tried it?) I'm just saying: notice the tail-wag moments. The small ones. The warm coffee, the good song, the friend who makes you laugh until your cheeks hurt.

Life's short. Do more of what makes your tail wag. 🧡

Today’s walk was all mud, puddles, and a hill that felt like a mountain. But I didn’t quit, I just adjusted, held on, and kept going 🐾

Today’s walk was not easy. 🐾

Mud, puddles, and a hill that felt like a mountain. But I didn’t sit down and quit, and I didn’t turn around. I just slowed down, picked my steps carefully, and kept going, one paw at a time.

Here’s what I learned: the bumps weren’t ruining the walk. They were the walk. Every tricky step was still carrying me forward. 🌿
