The African Record Mirror, caught from BEO at 74lb by @ralf.emmerich.94nashtackle is forever a reminder of what makes this lake so unique! Grown purely on naturals, the warm waters and rich clay of beo, allows the lake to have the potential to produce some awesome massive wild carp.....#moroc #pêche #photooftheday #travel #carping #carpy #carplife #fishing #carp #mirrorcarp #bigcarp #karpfenangeln #karpervissen #pechecarpe #pesca #karpfen #carpe #fishing #fishinglife #karpfen #catchandrelease #carplife #angling #carpangling #photography #bigfish #instacarp #karpvissen #africa #morocco #mountains #wildlifephotography by @moroccocarp

Quelques carpes communes africaines d' aujourd'hui et quelques baignades forcées pour les photos par la même occasion qui ne font pas de mal . 18 touches en 48h ça commence à être sérieux.

Bin El Ouidane isn’t only an adventure for anglers. 🇲🇦

For those travelling with partners or family, Hotel Bin El Ouidane sits directly on the water, with some of the lake’s most productive areas a stones throw from the hotel……🐋

The beautiful area immediately in front of the hotel, known as hotel bay, is ideal for anglers travelling with loved ones, allowing you to experience the wild fishing of Bin El Ouidane without disappearing from family life for the week.

A Moroccan escape for everyone. 🇲🇦 #morocco #carpfishing #atlasmountains #carp #carpangling by @moroccocarp

October is almost here, and beneath the Atlas Mountains, the mighty Bin El Ouidane is waiting.

After the long, hot Moroccan summer, the lake comes alive again as we officially open our 2026/27 season. 🇲🇦🎣

With Bin El Ouidane back at maximum capacity, the surrounding mountains green and the lake looking more spectacular than we’ve seen in years, there’s a real sense of anticipation in the air.

If you’re joining us in October, it won’t be long now… 👌#morocco #carpfishing #atlasmountains #carp #carpangling @younes.gonzalez 🎬 by @moroccocarp

It was never only about the carp.

The water. The mountains. The solitude. The unknown.

Bin El Ouidane, Morocco….A place that is difficult to describe, and impossible to forget. 🇲🇦

Another beautiful example from our friends @girlcarpfishing @el_profesor_carpfishing of the stunning wild Moroccan mirrors we’re lucky enough to have in Bin El Ouidane . 🇲🇦

What makes it even more special is that many of these fish have never been caught before. Completely wild carp, with no history and no previous captures.

You genuinely never know what’s going to pick up your bait next, and that’s what makes fishing here so unique!

Real wild carp fishing, just as it should be. #morocco #carpfishing #atlasmountains #angling #carp by @moroccocarp

As immense and prized as a big, wild, uncaught Bin El Ouidane common is, for many anglers it’s the Moroccan mirrors and especially the fully scaled mirrors, that dreams are made of.

The commons dominate these vast warm waters, outnumbering the mirrors, which only adds to their mystery. You simply never know when one is going to appear.
And when they do, they can be breathtaking!!

For many of our guests, a Bin El Ouidane fully is the ultimate Moroccan prize , and you’d be hard pushed to find a more beautiful wild mirror anywhere in the world. 🇲🇦

A closer look at a classic wild, uncaught Bin El Ouidane common… 👌

These are not carp that have grown fat on anglers’ bait. They are powerful, home grown Moroccan carp, originating from an old Hungarian strain and thriving naturally on the lake’s warm waters, mineral rich clay, and snails.

Long, lean, perfectly conditioned and built for battle. When one of these wild commons picks up your hookbait, you know about it!

In a world increasingly dominated by overstocked commercial fisheries and overfed carp, Bin El Ouidane is a genuine breath of fresh air: vast, wild and unpredictable, with carp that have grown naturally, and many that have never seen a hook!

This is what real wild carp fishing is all about. 🇲🇦#morocco #carpfishing #atlasmountains #carp #angling by @moroccocarp

Through the autumn months of October and November, as water temperatures begin to drop, massive numbers of carp move into the many shallow bays dotted around the mighty Bin El Ouidane!

When they arrive and begin feeding over your bait, the action can be hectic! Keep it simple, a few handfuls of maize over each rod, followed by screaming buzzers… 🇲🇦 #morocco #carpfishing #atlasmountains #carp #angling by @moroccocarp

The perfect start to another day on Bin El Ouidane 👌
