Every unforgettable show has a guiding force someone who doesn’t just direct the music but elevates the entire vision. For A FamLee Holiday, that guiding force is the incomparable Jameal “Morpheus” Williams.
His professionalism, creativity, and commitment are unmatched. And the truth is… he took my unorganized vision, my quirky mommy-brain ideas, and all the wild concepts I threw at him and morphesized them into a fully realized, beautiful show.

Jameal “Morpheus” Williams is a professional musician, producer, and three-time Emmy Award winner with the Black Academy of Arts & Letters in Dallas, Texas. Originally from East St. Louis, Illinois and now residing in Florissant, Missouri, he is a seasoned recording and touring musician known for his versatility and powerful musical voice.

Throughout his career, Jameal has performed with acclaimed artists including Shake Anderson, Lucky Peterson, Christopher Williams, Jennifer Holliday, Tonéx, Keke Wyatt, Melba Moore, and Dylan Triplett. He leads his own band, Rated Funk, bringing an energetic and signature sound to stages across the country.

In addition to his work as a performer and producer, Jameal serves as Minister of Music at Third Presbyterian Church. He is also a devoted husband and father, grounding his artistry in faith, family, and community.

Because of Jameal’s leadership, the music you hear tomorrow doesn’t just support the show it shapes it, elevates it, and brings the heart of this holiday experience to life. He saw the vision, refined it, organized it, breathed artistry into it, and turned it into something truly magical. We are beyond grateful for the gift he is to this production.
