Der Schwarm ist ein Phänomen aus der Tierwelt, den Stare und auch Fische benutzen, um sich zu schützen, aber auch um sich fortzubewegen. Diese Bewegungsform wurde vom Max Planck Institut erforscht, wobei die Forscher*innen zum Schluss kamen, dass diese Organisationsform von vielen Körpern auch Potential haben könnte für transformative Prozesse in der menschlichen Gesellschaft. Ich möchte nun Tänzer*innen bzw. Performer*innen (ich komme aus der Kunstperformance) einladen, mit mir Schwärme zu bilden und zu experimentieren im Rahmen des Schwärmens. Alaska has so much to offer in terms of learning to live, to survive in extreme circumstances. There is extrem weather and nature, conditions which challenge life and the body to the edge. People are flexible, sensitive and strong with the earth, the water and winds and inventive coping with all the changes in climate and culture. Bodies are strong and resistant when in their culture anchored. Colonial power has done great damage, destroying peoples lives with organized religion and violence like in the whole continent. Chlidren were taken away from their families - we know it from the Roma history, too. Their culture was forbidden as the wise womens culture in Europe was forbidden and which hunt was up. Alcohol destroys the many of the fragmented communities. Learning from history and grounding the knowledge in practices of sharing, openness, learning from eachother and witnessing was a big healing gift. WRC was coming into being through compassion and people with healing gifts. Food and healing was offered in a Cafe, people came to eat there and stayed for healing.
This weekend I participated in a workshop at WCR were I processed intergenerational trauma, deep pain and grief. A three days the process was going with 17 people. Together we changed energy. Ancient and contemporary knowledge was involved in the process. What a bliss to trust and love ourselves and the people arround witnessing the truth being spoken and heal ourselves by doing the same. 🪶

Morphing the Roma Label, unserer Publikation, die am 10. Oktober im Helmhaus präsentiert worden ist. Pünktlich zum 8. April ist sie nun im Lernmedienshop an der Europaallee zusammen mit dem intersektionalen Lehrmittel Jenische Sinti Roma aufgelegt.
