It was my childhood dream to be in @earthwindandfire so I can’t tell you how it felt to play this hit with them every night. I still get messages daily asking how to play various parts, questions on how I came up with certain arrangements and my fave…videos of you guys playing my solos 😭❤️🙏🏿. I teamed up with YOUJAZZ and we put together a few demonstration videos. I’ll put the link in my bio ❤️🙏🏿 by @morrispleasure

I was asked to come up with an off-the-cuff intro for “Fantasy” with @earthwindandfire and here it is.

HAPPY EARTH, WIND & FIRE DAY!!

What a tune by Al McKay and what a bass line from @verdine_white! It was my childhood dream to be in @earthwindandfire and not only did I get to play in this incredible band for almost a decade, I became their MD 🙌🏿

An incredible honor to play with these legends … @officialdaveweckl and @officialjohnmclaughlin @606club last night! It’s been a musical experience I’ll never forget. Also great to play with my monster musician friends @bertiefournier @vanagierig and @danreinstein. The best part is I get to do it again tonight on the same stage!

I’m reminiscing about my 7 years with the great Natalie Cole. I get asked all the time about the “David Foster Hitman Returns” video so I thought I’d make this for you.

Thank you @davidfoster for having me at the @davidfosterfoundation 40th anniversary with this dream band! 3 days, 3 shows with great artists, great music and a whole lot of laughs!

I hate that JR isn’t in this photo with us 😭

Dear God,

Tonight we remember the last evening we shared with Michael. The last rehearsal. The last conversations. The last laughter echoing through the room. The last hugs, the last smiles, the last moments of watching him bring music to life in the way only he could.

None of us knew it would be goodbye.

Thank You for allowing us to cross paths with such a remarkable soul. Thank You for the memories, the music, the friendship, and the love that continue to live in our hearts long after that final night.

Michael, wherever heaven has placed you among the stars, know that you are loved, missed, and remembered. We carry your lessons, your kindness, your passion, and your spirit with us every day.

On this day, we pause to think of you. We remember your smile. We remember your laughter. We remember your heart.

May God continue to hold you in His eternal peace, and may those of us who were blessed to know you never take for granted the gift of those final moments we shared together.

Until we meet again.
Amen. ❤️ by @morrispleasure

Stretching out before soundcheck at the @606club. Thanks so much to everyone who came out to see us. It was one of the best ever.
