Before you get defensive when it comes to people criticizing your social media, consider the source.

The SOURCE will really dictate how to respond.

One source could be someone who’s legitimately trying to help you grow. The other source could be an insufferable, jealous person trying to knock you down a few pegs.

Over the past five years, I’ve learned that some of the most valuable feedback comes from people who aren’t afraid to tell you what you NEED to hear, even when it’s not what you WANT to hear.

The key is learning to recognize the difference.

The most important takeaway is this:

Don’t let the wrong person’s opinion silence you. And on the flip side, don’t let your ego prevent you from learning from the right person.

Keep posting. Keep learning. Keep growing. 👌

The statement “all debt is bad” is simply not true.

There is some debt that will help get you to a better financial position long-term, such as buying a house and building equity, financing your college to obtain higher education towards a profession that pays very well, taking out a small business loan to invest in a lucrative business,to name a few.

And yes, there’s the type the bad debt out there that all have a common denominator: using debt to cover day to day and month to month expenses.

The bottom line is: not all debt is created equal.

Nearly two years in the making. Four different purchase contracts.

And now finally… HOME ! 🏠 🔑

Some home purchases are a straight line from preapproval to closing. This one was anything but.

Realtor Tony Lewis and I worked with Marcus ( the buyer) for nearly two years, navigating changing plans, three previous purchase contracts that ultimately fell through, and plenty of twists and turns along the way.

But we kept working through the challenges, exploring options and looking for ways it make it happen for Marcus and his family.

On this fourth attempt, Tony came up with a creative approach, Marcus was onboard with it, and we finally got to the finish line!

The best part? Seeing Marcus and his beautiful family celebrate their new home 🏠 ❤️

Loan Officers running away from the conversation is 🏃🏻

Experienced Loan Officers don’t disappear when rates move higher.

They pick up the phone, have the conversation, explain the options, and help their clients figure out whether buying still makes sense.

Because our jobs are not to promise the lowest rate.

It’s to help people make the smart decisions with the market we’re actually in.

And yes… sometimes this means having the uncomfortable conversation about today’s rates.

In reality, you pulled every James Bond stunt to get your car into the parking lot only to see that it might be another 5-10 minutes before you even find a parking spot.

Business owner, real estate agents, Loan Officers, clients, friends, family, it doesn’t matter…

We’ve ALL been there. Running late and then telling the white lie that “ I’ll be walking in any minute” when we know damn well we’re still looking for a parking spot.
