You can say yes to the house and the love story continues! Don’t let it end by:
1. Buying a new car. No one needs a new car and house at the same time!
2. Opening a new credit card. Ahem, furniture stores
3. Charging up a card you already have. Not the time for a shopping spree
4. Changing jobs. But life happens, you are not going to turn down a great opportunity so make sure you let your loan officer know asap! There may need to be some adjustments made
5. Quit your job. Yeah, not the right time to decide to be “independently wealthy”

Ummm, #mortgagewithmona you did my loan wrong, it should be fixed. Why did my payment go up??? Well my dear loyal client, it’s because your taxes AND insurance changes! And most of the time they go up. If you escrow, often times your escrows will fall short because when taxes and insurance goes up your mortgage does’t catch up immediately, BUT your escrow will still pay those bills and let your escrow fall short, so you need to catch up and update.
