Everyone has a hero. Ed was mine. This pic is from July 2015. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Diamond Dave or Red Rocker fan. To me it was purely Eddie “fuckin” Van Halen .

I’m not a musician. I’m just a fan.

The Tone. The crazy whammy bar dives. The Speed and technique.
But Eddies rhythm that, to me, was the sweet spot. The crunchy sounds on Fair Warning .
Mean Street, Dirty Movies. How about F.U.C.K. Those tracks were full of pure genius.
Man on a Mission. Pound cake. Listen to them with no vocals. Outstanding!

The entire catalog is embedded in my soul. Honestly. From Van Halen thru the Sammy era. To Gary Cherone , And A Different Kind of Truth with Dave. This is the soundtrack to my life.

R.I.P Eddie. You’re still my hero. The music you wrote transcends time.

How ‘bout those apples….lol. Today was a typical Monday. Woke up in a shit mood. Coffee didn’t help. As the day progressed it just got worse. The end result ….im for hire.
40 years of sales experience. Did 20 years as a news videographer. Then promotion and eventually commercial product. For the last 20 years…beer salesman. Working a seasonal route in Maine. I’ve consistently been able to move a million dollars plus in product in less than five months.
My accounts tell me that my customer service skills are unmatched. In what’s becoming an AI world there is still a need for a name and a face not generated by computers. Looking for a good fit ? Nice greeting when I got home today. The two little deer ran away. But mom held her ground , gave me a dirty look…and the turkeys went the other way because I mentioned Thanksgiving. They are sensitive that way .

I’m lucky to live here . The world has become a very noisy place.

Wanted to introduce a new member to the family. The Stealth EVH Wolfgang Standard. Ivory was purchased locally a few months ago. But I’ve wanted a Stealth from the first time I saw it.thank you to @sweetwater for assisting with the purchase and follow up. Amazing service and professionalism. Stay tuned…I’m not a player by any stretch of the word. I noodle and make noise and occasionally stumble into something. Maybe I’ll get brave enough to post something someday. Until then.
