POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The absolute hardest post I’ve ever had to make, my sweet boy , my best friend left us the other day. I’m absolutely devastated. He lived an amazing life, he traveled across country twice, he was on tv once, he hiked mountains, he bar hopped with me, he had all the snacks, the trays and foods he could ever want. He barked at the squirrels, he sat outside during hurricanes just taking in the wind. He loved the sun, he hated baths, he loved every person he ever met. He was chill. He let me sleep on him as a pillow and he got me through the worst time of my life. There will never be another like you, you were so loved and adored. We never get enough time with our fluffy friends, but the time we get is sacred and special. It’s unique, and it’s beautiful in a way we don’t get with any human. I’m so glad you were my best friend, I’m so glad you were there for me and I was there for you. I’m so glad I got to see you grow, all your quirks. I am so lucky that had each other. I love you my best pal. My sweet stinky potato. My moo cow, my beautiful angel. 💜 by @mosesmetts

Feeling a bit nostalgic lately, maybe it’s hitting my 40s, maybe it’s just a little longing for the good old days. Maybe it’s both. But, I came across this song my brother @mettsaphor wrote. We recorded this on a day off from tour out in montecello. He played this one other time I believe, at a wedding. It’s still one of my favorites, and I think it deserves a little place on my Instagram. by @mosesmetts

Recently found a roll of film I’d thought was lost a long time ago. At first I thought this roll was only images from a hike through the foothills in 2016 but, then I saw this…it was taken in 2014 on my way back from California, one of the most difficult times in my life. I’m pretty amazed that it turned out at all, and I feel like the imperfections caused by waiting so long, reflect the journey I was on at that moment. No idea where this was, somewhere southwest.

Thanks to instagram, I saw a reel of someone recreating the intro to family matters…and that reminded me of the time we ( @lonesomecitytravelers ) did this on tour back in 2011 by @mosesmetts

Still gotta add the color, but I dig this house, so I’m posting it.
This is basically the house I wanted to have when I was a kid. .
