Big news. I am building a merch marketplace into Moshdrop.com, where bands, labels and promoters sell their own merch and keep the money.

What do you think a system like this needs? I would like to hear your thoughts.

The idea is simple. Moshdrop takes no commission. Not a reduced rate, not on certain days, none. You have all seen bands posting about Bandcamp Friday, the one day a month Bandcamp waives its cut. On Moshdrop every day is Bandcamp Friday. And if you take bank transfer there is no payment processor either, so you keep every single penny.

Here is where it is at so far.

A full marketplace. Buyers browse merch from every band on the site and filter by genre, by distance from them, by type of thing, by size, by colour, by price, or just search for it. Your merch shows up on the marketplace, on your own page, and on a shop page of your own that is easy to share.

Every product page shows who is selling it, a bit about the band, and when they are playing next. Because you are not buying from a warehouse, you are buying from a band.

You can buy from three different bands in one go. One checkout, three parcels, each band paid separately. No account needed to buy, the buyer just gets a private link to their order.

Payment will be Stripe, PayPal or plain bank transfer, and you choose which ones you accept. Moshdrop is never the middleman and never holds the money. It goes straight from the buyer to you.

You get a proper seller screen: add products with sizes, colours and stock, and manage your orders. Emails go out automatically when an order is placed, paid and posted.

For shipping you switch on Royal Mail, Evri or InPost, the real prices arrive already filled in, and you just say whether something is a small, medium or large parcel. You can change any price, or set your own entirely. Free postage over an amount you pick, if you want it. If a band offers more than one courier, the buyer chooses.

It is not a direct connection to the couriers, so no printed labels yet. Just the names and prices everyone already knows. Labels are on the list for later.

UK only to begin with.

You can now send all your files through moshdrop.com, so you don't need WeTransfer or anything like it anymore.

Drop in up to 25 files, as much as 1GB at a time. Almost anything goes: PSDs, AI and EPS files, INDD, zips, audio, photos. Not just the handful of formats most sites allow.

You choose how long the files stay online, up to a week, and you can put a password on them if you want. You get a unique URL to send to whoever needs the files.

You get a notification when they've downloaded them, so you're not left wondering if they got it.

The person you're sending to doesn't need a Moshdrop account. They just open the link and download, either file by file or all of it as one zip.

If they are on Moshdrop, you can send files straight to them in a message instead. Everything you've sent, by link or in a message, sits in one place so you can see what's still out there, who got it, and remove anything early if you sent the wrong version.

Instead of ads like WeTransfer has, we show bands with profiles on Moshdrop, so whoever is downloading your files might find some new bands while they wait.

Files clear themselves out when the time is up, so nothing of yours sits around on a server forever.

Like everything on Moshdrop, it's completely free.

Try it out! by @moshdrop

Hey promoters, this one is for you.

Two things eat your time every single week: chasing bands for their logos and photos, and telling everyone what time to turn up. Both are now sorted on Moshdrop.

Ask any band for files
Type the band name and what it's for, and you get a link. Send it over WhatsApp or a DM and they upload their logo, photos, riders and stage plan. They don't need an account and they don't need to be on Moshdrop. You can even do it before the show is booked or announced.

Everything lands in your own file library
Only you can see it. Search by band, show or venue, download a selection as one zip, and delete what you don't need when the show is done.

Send files to your designer
Making a poster? Pick the files and get a link to send whoever is designing it. They download just those, no account, and the link runs out by itself.

Day sheets
Load in, soundcheck, stage times, the address, how many on the guest list, and who to ring on the night. It makes one page you share with the bands. Change something and they see it straight away, so nobody is digging through their emails for the right version. Bands who are on Moshdrop see it on their own shows page.

Your shows, sorted
Upcoming and past split up, past by year, a search box, and the day sheet and file buttons right on each show. You can also add a show unpublished and get everything ready before you announce it.

It's free. Make a profile and have a look, it'll save you time this week.

Anything you want added or changed, tell me and I'll put it on the list.

The weekend is getting closer and we are ready for it! There is once again so much to do all over the UK.
As always, more information about any of these events and more events can be found on moshdrop.com

I found a very exciting multi day festival on Moshdrop! This one is called Castlefest and its located in Luton. The lineup is looking simply amazing. A personal favourite of mine (Roman Candle) are playing there as well. They don't have any poster for both days, so I used the Saturday poster in here, but the festival is on Friday and Saturday.

Next up the gigs, and we got a ton of those!
On Friday If Death Do Us Part is having a show at Duffy's in Leicester together with our friends from Adarna May Exist! They describe themselves as "Myspace type shit", Right up my alley! Don't miss it!

If you're in the Liverpool area there is a gig going on in Outpost with a great lineup with Carnal Rot, Olympus, Vulgore and Betrayor. Some hard stuff there!

On to Saturday, this is a busy one!
In Manchester we got a HUGE hardcore/beatdown day. Street soldier, Detriment, Dead Mob, Play the Victim, Expressionless and Eyegouge. This is gonna be insane, you know it!
In London we got none other than Annotations of an Autopsy. If that isn't sick, I don't know what is! They are joined by an amazing lineup that cannot be missed.
If you're not excited about AOAA, there is another gig (All dayer!) in London. The final all dayer by Cut and Run with a FULL lineup.
No-Hate fest 2026 takes place at Ye Olde Salutation Inn in Nottingham and features Incinery as headliners, with support from Orbital Alignment, Milagro & more!

On Sunday you can close off your weekend with some hardcore punk and crust. Brick, Hemiptera, Letsavit and Strazio are going to destroy Trades Hall in London.

Special shoutout to Distill, with an insane show on Monday at Home Bar in Edinburgh (Fuck it, just make your weekend a day longer!) Bas Rotten from Portugal are coming to Edinburgh with support from Futile, Burning the Filth and of course Distill themselves. Grind, Powerviolence and just pure chaos is what you can expect. Sounds like the perfect Monday to me. by @moshdrop

Looking to discover some new music from the UK? Check out the Moshdrop Sessions playlist on Spotify.
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6AFPPW1Bs3oq6VSwA1X8Nw?si=549b851516c04da7

I've just updated it with more bands that have signed up to Moshdrop, plus some fresh releases from bands already on there.

Listening to local bands and following them online is a great way to support your local scene and give smaller bands a platform. If anything on there grabs you, give the band a follow.

The playlist will keep getting updated regularly, so follow it too and you won't miss new additions.

If you're in a band and want to be considered for the playlist, make a free profile on moshdrop.com. by @moshdrop

Hey promoters and bookers, this is a huge one!

Promoters and bookers constantly run into the same problems, with a lot of manual work and back and forth emails. With these new functions I've tried to tackle 2 of the biggest issues promoters face daily:

- Asking bands for files such as logos, photos and riders
- A clear day sheet, telling everyone the times, where to be, when to do what etc.

I have fixed both of these for you on Moshdrop. As a promoter you can now:

Ask any band for their files
Whether they're on moshdrop.com or not. Fill in their band name and what it's for (a show, or a promotion), and a link is made for you. You can even do this before a show is booked or announced.
The link is unique to you and that band. Send it to them and they can upload their logos, photos, riders and stage plans.
The files go into your own file library. Nobody else has access to them, only you. You can search them by band, show or venue, download a selection as one zip, and delete what you don't need anymore.
Need to send them to whoever is doing your poster? Pick the files and get a link for your designer. They can download just those, no account needed.
Bands who get sent the link can also use it to make their own Moshdrop profile if they want, and the files they sent go straight onto it.

Create a day sheet
You can now make a day sheet for any show you've added on Moshdrop. Let bands know when to load in, when soundcheck is and when they're playing, how many guest list places they get, how to get there and who to call with questions.
It makes a page you can share with the bands on the night. Change something and they see it straight away, so nobody has to dig through their emails for the latest version. Bands who are on Moshdrop even see it on their own shows page.

You can also add shows unpublished now, so you can get everything sorted before you announce them.

Two huge additions that I think make promoting bands and shows a lot easier.
If you're a promoter, create a free profile and check it out. It'll be worth your time and save you time in the future.
If you'd like to see something else added or changed, let me know and I'll add it to the list! by @moshdrop

You literally cannot be bored this weekend! There is so much going on all over the UK!
Here are some shows you should be going to if you're in the area!

Start your weekend with a great Friday night. We got our good friends Rawrdogg playing in Sheffield. They're always up for a good time, and the entry is free so there is really no excuse to miss them! Closer to Birmingham? Be sure to head over to Scruffy Murphy's to see a heavy show by Olympus. They got some amazing bands with them so that'll be a busy evening!

Over the weekend we got Who Asked You? Festival, a two-day hardcore punk and metalcore festival taking place in Newcastle. There are some amazing bands there with Integrity being a UK exclusive for 2026! You can't miss this if you're in the area.

The Saturday has even more going on! Are you in the Sheffield area? Be sure to head over to Corporation for Amplified Festival. This is where we will be this weekend! 2 stages over one day, no clashes, just amazing band. The whole day is filled with bangers from Siamese, Eschalon, Downpour, From Tyranny and more!
PUNKS4TRANSPRIDE is an all dayer of high energy Hardcore and Punk at Deadwax, Digbeth in Birmingham. The entry fee is donation based, so no reason to miss this one. Death goals, Skitz, Misgendered, Saoirse, A packed day.
We're not forgetting London. Heavy in Hanwell is another full day of live music. Free entry, so the perfect day out! Ronin Veins, The Fires Below, War Club, Hades Labyrinth and many more!
If you're in the Bradford area and looking for a night out we got an amazing gig with Aphotic Sky, Milagro, Skye and Vazon at Underground Bradford.

Sunday is not a day for resting this week. Instead go to Bowlbash 2 at Spit & Sawdust Skatepark in Cardiff. Coldheart will be playing there with Deep Strike, Antarctica and Mentality. This is going to be great!
The last gig we will highlight is Downpour in Manchester. You had a chance to see them in Sheffield on Saturday, so if you missed them there, you can see them here! They will be playing alongside Waves Like Walls, Noiseless and Aleya.

More information about these shows (And so many more) can be found on Moshdrop.com by @moshdrop

Many bands have issues keeping their finances in check, now of course, I'm not the one that will do it for you, but I have added some new functionalities on Moshdrop that will make it easier for you as a band to keep your finances in order.

I created the finances page. There you can add everything you made as a band and spent as a band. This will give you a very clear overview of how your band is doing financially. It gives you clear graphs and calculates totals for you.

You can add everything you have earned or spent as a band easily and describe what it was about. If you've added a show you've played at to Moshdrop you can connect your earnings to a show as well. This will make it easy for you and your band to see which cities were profitable and which cities weren't.

You can also import your data directly from PayPal so everything that goes through Paypal you wont have to do manually. You can add all of your cash earnings in there as well.
The advantage of this is that all your finances will be easily visible in one place instead of having to memorize it in your head or keep it in a notes app somewhere.
I am still working on importing from Stripe, Square, SumUp and Zettle or even a direct connection, but I will have to see first if there are enough people interested in using this functionality.

Besides being able to keep track of your finances you can easily export all of your bands finances as a PDF file or a CSV file to send to your accountant, print or keep as a backup making sure you always have a clear view of how much money your band has earned and spent.

All of the data is encrypted and only visible to you so its completely safe to use.

Of course, like everything on Moshdrop this is completely free, so head over to moshdrop.com and click the finances tab to check it out. Its easy to use and will make keeping your bands finances a lot easier.

If you have any questions about this or any other things you can do on Moshdrop, just send me a message.

Playing a festival or just want to let everyone know what time you're playing? You can now add a clashfinder/time scedule to your shows or festival on moshdrop.com

On any show you've added you can now click the "add a timetable" button. Add the stages if there's more than one, and add the times each band is playing. A timetable/clashfinder will be generated for you!

I dont know about you, but i think thats pretty cool!
