Starting year 6 somehow!? Turning 31 next week?! It’s been a long journey and I’m still learning as I go but holy shit am I thankful to do this job. 2026 couples? (Especially the ones who booked in 2024 you know who you are and ily) I am soooo excited to start the prep. Here’s to another year 💋

If I’m being honest, weddings near the water might take the cake for me and yes I’m a Pisces but that probably has nothing to do with it!!!

Fall is on the horizon — my last wedding until NYE approaches, Saturday wraps the craziest year of weddings I’ve had to date. Meetings with clients at Bina’s, engagement sessions that felt more like good hangs, roadtrips across the Midwest, and timeline chats that dug into the why’s, without assuming tradition.

I dove head first into my process this year, trying to nail down what mattered and put aside what no longer served me. This winter will be one of rest but will also offer an opportunity to refresh and build. My shoulders, which haven’t relaxed past my ears in a few months, will finally let go, I am sure, when greeted with colder and slower months.

I’m so so proud of the heart I’ve put into 2026, and feel it returned ten fold in the couples who have trusted me to be their documentarian. It is not lost on me how big of a decision it is, to pick a photographer and hope you made the right call, to invite someone into a day you’ve put your heart into and trust they’ll handle it with care — but if there’s anything I can say for certain, it is that I’ll always care — that you have the day you desire, that the photos feel like the day you experienced, that my involvement is only ever positive, and that your people go home knowing I care about them too… because where there are people, there are stories, and I’ve been so honored to tell each one of yours 💕 by @mospeerphotography
