I acquired more pieces of a tree downed by a windstorm in St. David’s last winter. It was destined to be firewood. Well… change of plan. • responsibly sourced, preserved mosses, reclaimed silver maple • 16 x 20 inches 🍁🧭🌳 #niagaraonthelake #notl #mossart #moss #art #secondlife #newwork #SOLD taken in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario by @mossandmethod

My largest round piece is available. Do you see an island? A river? A seashore? I love learning the unique things people see in my work. This was created before I began exploring the use of reclaimed wood local to Niagara on the Lake. What’s not to love about olive wood though? 🫒 • responsibly sourced, preserved lichen and mosses, reclaimed live edge olive wood from Turkey • 18 inches in diameter 🌳 #moss #art #niagaraonthelake #pickuponly taken in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario by @mossandmethod

I love this picture light my customer installed above my pieces 💚 The down light really brings out the dimensionality and all that texture! Thank you @catharinejrose for sharing. I’m planning to do the same for the next big piece I keep for myself 🥰 #moss #art #lightingart #notl #notlart by @mossandmethod

I’ve been wanting to get back to making circular pieces lately. I was getting pre cut wood. I want to do it myself. Do I need to get a jigsaw for that? • This was a piece I gave some friends as part of a wedding gift in 2024 🩵🤎 preserved mosses and lichens, reclaimed olive wood • 12 x 12 inches #weddinggift #wallart #moss #woodworkingnewbie taken in Niagara-On-The-Lake, Ontario by @mossandmethod
