@lvneaperfume ‘s Golden Dolly, you truly are autumn bottled. 🍂 🌽 When I wear this, I imagine a tiny mouse that lives in a boot buried in the hay fields. He’s brought home a bouquet of chamomile for his lady. When the flowers dry, she makes the home sweet with a cup of tea. Breezy wafts carry the scent of fresh cut bails through the home. The scarecrow stationed nearby keeps them safe from flying eyes. At first spray, I find this to be a bit cloying, I think it may be the popcorn absolute (which is a hard note for me!) However, it’s worth it to get through those first few minutes. It softens out nicely and the notes blend to create an atmospheric image. It’s very pastoral. I close my eyes, inhale, and think of my younger self rolling down the hill on my grandparents apple orchard with my cousins. Dried grass in my hair, soil stained knees, autumn air. This one really grew on me. | Indie Perfume | Artisanal | Limited Edition | Lvnea | Perfume Review | Autumn | by @mossmallow_

🗡️ 🛡️ ⛓️ @paraphrase.perfume Vanilla Virtu surprised me. “Medieval Vanilla” is entirely fitting. I had expected something much heavier, but instead I’m met with a fragrance that feels like a gentle, comforting period piece. The opening immediately reminds me of artisanal cola syrup—rich, spiced, and slightly herbal—but it fades almost as quickly as it arrives. Spiced syrup melts into dark molasses, spread over hearty bran bread on a rustic wooden table, while incense burns softly in the next room. The incense is never centre stage; it drifts through the composition, adding warmth and atmosphere. It’s different from what I expected, yet somehow exactly what I was hoping for. Every time I wear it, I feel like a medieval peasant in the very best way. Feeling more like myself these days 💕 Grateful for my friends, my opportunities, and my cosy home. by @mossmallow_
These beautiful 15mls are on their last spritz, and I have thoughts. 《 Queen of The Night 》 My introduction to Heretic, proof that there are no accidents, I recieved this in a little tube labeled Angel's Trumpet (what I had ordered) only to find a divine intervention. This scent captivated me. As someone who was just getting into fragrance, this quickly became my signature. I did not know the power of florals, or the power I would feel while wearing them. I truly feel like a queen when I wear this. The citrus opens this up beautifully, green and slightly spicy, mimosa and jasmine soon take the stage and dance so beautifully. The dry down takes this to the gardens, it becomes grounded and earthy, while night flowers bloom. Clarity— Heretic was so kind and quick to fix this hiccup in shipment, they sent me my original order as well as Nocturnal Tuberose, as an apology, to complete my Nocturnal Collection. 《 Angel's Trumpet 》 I came across a video of a woman going through her wedding scent contenders, and learned of Angel's Trumpet. Their reaction intrigued me, and upon first sniff, I found it justified. This fragrance is light and creamy. Dewy, delicate white flower petals collected and made into something angelic. Slightly beachy, perfect for the summer. This is roll your eyes back good. This collection paved the way for my journey in fragrance. I still have yet to find florals as divine as these. 🤍 Honorary mention— Heretic's attention to detail when it comes to presentation is top tier. They scent their parcels with their parfums, mine was scented with Black Salt. I remember inhaling it for days until it no longer smelled. It was sweet, salty, umami. Like an ocean breeze. I could definitely see it being a top contender for summertime! @hereticparfum #nichefragrance #fragrance #perfume #nicheperfume #perfumereview by @mossmallow_

When I first sampled Steamed Rainbow, it took me somewhere. I was 8 years old, a sunday morning soccer game in my small town's school field. It was always a dewy morning, we would sit on blanketed grass and eat orange slices between games, a sprinkler would come on nearby. This smells like those mornings, and I never knew that feeling of nostalgia could be bottled. Steamed Rainbow is so special to me! #nicheperfume #nichefragrance #perfume #fragrance by @mossmallow_

Post: One of many Romantix to me is a teenage crush, sipping a freshly poured fountain cherry cola during cosmic bowling at the alley. You lock eyes from across the room and spill a little on yourself. It's too dark for anyone else to notice. You smell the waxed floors, the cherried sugar on your chin, your multicolored shoes glow in the lights. This fragrance surprised me, I was not looking to smell like cola, nor did I think it would be wearable. It's dreamy, it's nostalgic, and warm. This is very unisex, not sickly sweet, it's playful and still grounded. It almost reminds me of the Dr. Pepper lip balm I had as a kid, but without the lipstickiness. I crave fragrances that transport me to a place, or a memory. Syd's work does exactly that. Romantix is a treasure to behold. next on my hitlist: angelface, meteorite, wavy tulip #sydbotanica #nicheperfume #indieperfume #fragrance by @mossmallow_
