Another Delish/Slutcraft art piece that I showed @formandconcept this year in my solo show Flourish///Romancing the Mysteries. Because Cake Honey!! More from that artist statement …”As a guide, I resource my own inner knowledge of the threshold crossings, living in the sacred in-betweens, as to be queer and genderqueer is to dance with liminal worlds. From this blooming center of expansion, I understand we are all a center and that all centers must therefore be acknowledged and allowed to change and flux and metamorphose. I aim to hold a steady focus in which my love for place, plant people and animal people can teach us: we are living with them. My practice is then adoration for that which inspires me, to be in a dance with it, and to see it in its glory and its flux. The living/learning of the always-unfolding mystery of life and its gracious possibilities for joy and health is what I pray to attune to. The altar that I serve is the altar of rapture and euphoria. Every witch has a calling; this is mine. I am here to anoint the moment with ecstatic joy of worshipping all the wonders and mysteries of living and creation. Leaning on the principles of great design and play as a celebration of a good, well-examined life, I present joy in the simplest moments. All one needs is to notice them.” xoxo soft witch by @mossmoonsea

May that which is in wellness guide us. We all have times in our lives where need the mercy of Divine Guidance. When we are searching with all that we have to seek what is right and what is the highest good. Working with this altar took me through the portal of self compassion and reminded me to return to the all seeing eye of the heart. To attune to coherence again and again with Love that brings clarity!

The angelic visitation pieces in the DEVOTION show are rather difficult to photograph. They are glossy like a surfboard gloss resin top coat. They are about the portals to other worlds once one has had such a glorious experience. There is a reason why angels say “Do not be afraid”, if you have ever seen one they inspire utter awe and things feel different afterwards. Its humbling. These color visitations remind me of the guardians ever present and close to us. I could go on and on about my own experiences, but Im rather sure we all have them and they are special and unique to us all. They open portals to the heavenly realms and open our eyes ever wider. There is a reason angels are painted and sculpted again and again throughout out the course of time and across cultures. This is about the color feeling for me as invitation, as it is the feeling of reaching thru the portals of dimensions upon such a visit to be ever changed and humbled.

DEVOTION opens this Thursday at SFCC @all_art_sfcc in the Dean’s Gallery 4-6 Pm. Please Join me to celebrate.

I aim to hold a steady focus and love for the place, plants, people, and animal people who are teaching us. To live with them and experience direct knowing informs my practice with adoration. I am asked to be in a dance with them and not to extract but rather to see all things in their glory and flux.
The living/learning of the ever unfolding mystery of life and its gracious possibilities for joy and health is what I am ever praying to attune to. This show is about the act of devotion and how commitment to practice transforms us and everything in our lives. I have studied flower essences and have channeled energetic attunements with each arrangement that each altar might hold knowing emotional keys in their floral vibrations. Always remembering that we are ever blessed to learn from the flower and plant people.
