TODAY is my posting day for the Malevolent Big Bang, and I have literally never been this proud of myself or happy with a project I've made. Please enjoy some of the memes and doodles I made while writing. And a surprise face reveal at the end.

ENDLESS love to my team for this bang, truly it was such a delight to work with everyone. I'm so happyyy

[Video Transcription:
I would just like to say that fuckin' anything is possible. Because in the last two and a half months, I have gotten divorced, I have started a new job, I have had some genuinely debilitating changes in my life, and I just finished writing 50 thousand words, 260 handwritten pages of some bullshit. NEVER GIVE UP!
End description.] A screenshot of the archive of our own listing for "Pilgrimage of the Sacrifice" by coulson_is_an_avenger. It is flagged for graphic depictions of violence. by @mossy_rainfrog

I CANT BELIEVE I HAVEN'T BEEN POSTING MY PARKER ARTS??? I have been on Parker LOCKDOWN for the last three months. Threshold has been rewriting my brain. Mr Yang i fucking LOVE you

@malevolentpodcast
#parkeryang #malevolentthreshold #malevolentpodcast #malevolentfanart A page of ink sketches of Parker's face with various expressions and dialogue notes. He is laughing, smoking, looking on in exasperation, and grinning wildly during a fight with a bloody nose. He also looks to the side and says, presumably to Arthur: "You look like youve hit bedrock friend." In another, his eyes are wide and he thinks "I need that English man in my inventory." Finally, he looks up in horror as a monstrous shadow with a crown looms over him. by @mossy_rainfrog

posting in celebration of HITTING THE BIG BANG DEADLINE!!!! for the first time ever, I've just finished a full, completed story from start to finish. still a work in progress, but actually done!!!!!!!! in 80 days I wrote 260 pages by hand, a whopping 47,200 words when transcribed. all of this while going through a breakup and a job change. these little memes and updates have kept me going 💪

to any malevolent or mystery enjoyers, stay tuned in october to see the final product!!!! An edited version of the horse meme that says "I will always succeed because I am insane". A photo of my handwritten notebook and a photo of my John Doe cosplay are photoshopped into the image, although the horse remains visible. by @mossy_rainfrog

self portraits for disability pride (and general pick-me-ups). 💚💙🤍💛❤️ forever trying to love the parts of myself that make me different.

#disabilitypride #disability #trichotillomania #covid #disabled A traditionally drawn self portrait. The person depicted is a thin nonbinary person with glasses, short dark hair, and a mask. There is a visible bald patch in their hair in the shape of a star. The disability pride flag fills the background of the image. by @mossy_rainfrog

I missed my Arthur and found a really nice photo of David Tennant to reference. go my scarab I love you💛

#malevolentpodcast #malevolentfanart #arthurlester A traditional drawing of Arthur Lester from the waist up, sitting on a nondescript surface. He is a heavyset white man with short, dark hair, a mustache, and many scars. His outfit is unkempt: his button down is open, revealing scarred chest and stomach, and one of his suspenders has slipped off and hangs to the side. His expression is furrowed as he looks off to the distance. His eyes are yellow, and a yellow halo frames his face. by @mossy_rainfrog

I cannot believe Malevolent ends today.

For two full years I've loved this podcast and the winding journey of its strange and fantastic characters. I wasn't able to make a uniquely stunning piece for the finale, but looking back at everything I've made and loved for this show over the years, I'm satisfied with what I've done. I'm so glad Malevolent has gotten to be a part of my life.💛💛💛

From the very first Arthur I sketched way back at my old job to the incredible amounts of sewing and crafting I explored, all the way up to the art of them walking hand in hand in my January calendar, thank you, @malevolentpodcast for this wonderfully creative show and its absolutely burning message of hope.

Good luck, tonight. A traditional drawing of Arthur Lester looking over his shoulder, terrified, as John looms behind him and says "Arthur, RUN." John is depicted as all blackness with a yellow maw opening to show many sharp teeth. by @mossy_rainfrog

rereading the masterpiece "All that is mine to me, all that is yours to you" and making propaganda for it once again. I am so endlessly fond of this fic and its John 😭💛 A portrait of John’s skull. It is a human skull with the jaw open, but there are a dozen small horns around the crown of his head and the teeth are notably fang-like and sharp. The background is a faded brown, as if an anatomy painting on old paper. Text on the image reads “John Doe. Human.” by @mossy_rainfrog

this year's spotify wrapped art challenge aka my favorite art meme of the year is off to a great start! courtesy of thecircleisoverparty on tumblr, John Doe and Yellow with song 42 :D. I Can't Fix You by The Living Tombstone!!

#malevolentfanart #malevolentpodcast #malevolentjohn #johnmalevolent #yellowmalevolent #arthurlester A digital drawing of Arthur from Malevolent season 3 in the bathroom. He is bent over away from the camera and running a hand through his hair as Yellow sits atop his shoulder and looks to the side into the oval bathroom mirror. Tendrills of Yellow's cloak sway off to the side, almost longingly. Reflected in the mirror is John Doe. Around the mirror are written the words: "is it because I can't be her? made me awake, made me hurt. I can't fix you."

Character designs: Arthur is a stout white man with long brown hair, wearing a long sleeved shirt and denim overalls. Yellow is a masked, hooded figure with tall, winding horns, and a yellow cloak with a few tatters. Yellow gems hand from the hood of the cloak. John is a masked hooded figure with shorter horns, a gold cloak, and black and purple tentacles. Yellow gems encircle his hood like a crown. by @mossy_rainfrog

#malevolentpodcast #malevolentfanart #malevolentyellow #characterdesign A digitally drawn portrait of human Yellow from the bust up, showing her smiling slightly and looking off to the side. The angle shows off her broad shoulders and strong arms. She has long, golden-yellow hair that frames her face like the hood of a cloak, and two tall horns reaching up from the left side of her scalp. She has light skin, yellow eyes, and wears dark eyeshadow and lipstick. She is wearing a black dress with a plunge neckline. by @mossy_rainfrog

malevolent podcast is like if you had a seeing eye dog that built a cathedral out of your bones. and also deserves to be held. anyways shout out ep 56 dropping tonight 🫡

#malevolentpodcast #malevolentfanart #jarthur A digital drawing drawn over a photograph. In the drawing, John Doe Malevolent is curled up in Arthur Lester’s lap. John is a humanoid figure with a cracked pallid mask for a face, dark horns, and a long, yellow cloak. Beneath the cloak at the bottom are many curling purple tentacles. Arthur is a stout man with pale skin, short brown hair, a short mustache, and many scars. John is smiling and purring in Arthur’s arms, and one of his tentacles wraps fondly around Arthur’s leg. Arthur is smiling and pressing his face into John’s mask, holding him close by the knees and the shoulder. by @mossy_rainfrog

One must imagine Sapphique happy.

I got deeply emotional about this guy out of nowhere today and realized I never posted any of my drawings of him!

Oh, dear embodiment of freedom and legend of the Outside, I hope your wings brought you as much comfort as they did liberation.

#incarceron #incarceronfanart #incarceronbook #sapphique #catherinefisher @catherine_fisher_author thank you for such an impactful story and character !! A digital painting of Sapphique from the Incarceron novels in portrait. Sapphique is drawn as a straight-sized Black man with his hair in locs pulled back in a ponytail. He has a round face, his skin is covered in freckles, and he is missing the forefinger of his right hand. His freckles glow white like small stars, and he smiles gently. The background is painted in greens and blues and purples. by @mossy_rainfrog
