BIG LITTLE!!!!

@riley_monk06 , where can I even start. After being matched with a random I had so many spiraling thoughts: what if she doesn’t like me? what if we don’t click? What if we don’t like the same things? But after our date, which was 4 hours long, and knowing you were my little, I felt overjoyed. It never felt so easy to connect with anyone. Riley, you are so bubbly, energetic, and such an amazing little. I hope you’re my little in every lifetime and many more.

Even though Initation was a few weeks ago, I’m beyond proud of riley, and can’t wait to see her college journey…even if it’s her 2nd college.

Riley, since our first panda pal date, I felt dizzy, I felt thoughts starting to swirl. I had multiple thoughts, what is she doesn’t like me for who I am? What if she liked one of her other dates better than me? As soon as you got in my car I heard the sweetness of your voice. After sitting down, pouring our hearts out for 4 hours, I wanted you to jump back in the passenger seat. I wanted you to come make your basket even though it was supposed to be a surprise. Riley, even though your my little, your so much more to me than a name, your my best friend, my line dancing queen, my follow when I lead the dance floor, and my person. I’m so excited to see where your journey leads you in this life. I’m excited to see where Alpha Omicron Pi takes you. and Im so beyond proud of the woman you have become and shown me. by @mostlykatiee

If you told Katie a long time ago she would be in a sorority filled with support, loving sisters, and instant connections, she wouldn’t have believed you.
I grew up with a family who didn’t go to a big university, nor did they go through recruitment. I was clueless, lost, and felt misunderstood. Then I met @drewbird40 , my gamma chi, who made recruitment so much easier for me. She helped whenever I was overwhelmed, stressed, and undecided. If it weren’t for her, I wouldn’t be standing in the AOII house.
Through all the anxiety through rush, I felt like I never deserved a house. However, receiving an envelope and opening a bid from AOII made me realized I am more than my own thoughts.
I ran home and I saw the bright red doors. The same red doors my grandfather built for my first home. The red doors that brought so much memories. The red doors that would later symbolize my future sisterhood.
Alpha Omicron Pi has brought out so much more of Katie. She’s genuine, more outgoing, and apologetic.
Alpha Omicron Pi has also shown her the values that come with everlasting friendships. It’s shown her, her future bridesmaids, future friends to help plan an outfit for a date night, future sisters to guide her through never ending battles, future friends who value you, for YOU.
If it weren’t for Alpha Omicron Pi, I wouldn’t learn how to be sociable, I wouldn’t learn how to be supportive, I wouldn’t know how to stand up for myself, and I wouldn’t know how this sisterhood would ever make me feel.
I want to thank @arkansasaoii for allowing me to be home, have a genuine sisterhood, and a forever family.
